"If they think we're going down without a fight... Oh hell gnaw!" Gravitas Ventures has released a trailer for a Wtf film called Ratpocalypse, which surprisingly has nothing to do with the documentary Rat Film, nor does it have to do with the current state of the world. Well, but it kinda does. The film was already released in Moscow in 2015 and is just now getting a VOD release in America. Casper Van Dien stars as a Senator who delivers a speech in Moscow about corruption, claiming it will turn met into "rats". Suddenly this starts happening and people start turning into rats for real. Also starring Victoria Summer, Linda Bella, Catherine Oxenberg, Robert Craighead, Ilya Slovesnik, Natalia Lapina, Lidiya Korotko, and Alexander Khachatryan. The footage in the trailer is even weirder than it seems, if you dare to look. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Vladimir Uglichin's Ratpocalypse,...

A bullied teen cozies up the Devil in order to enact vengeance on the mean girls at her high school…
Devil’s Domain sounds like a promising, if well worn, premise; a supernatural, revenge fantasy about the dangers of cyber-bullying and cruelty. Unfortunately, this film can’t decide if it wants to be Carrie, Mean Girls, or Saw. It’s as if somewhere along the shoot writer/director Jared Cohn kept coming up with new ideas and tried to switch the films tone every couple of scenes.
The film begins with bulimic, cutter, lesbian, teen Lisa Pomson (Madi Vodane) being harassed by literally every human being who shares her air. You know the old trope about how the villain has to kick a dog to prove how evil he is? Imagine Lisa is the dog...

Satan would find a lot more willing customers if it always appeared in the guise of the hottie villain featured in Jared Cohn’s grungy horror film. Played by Linda Bella, this demon who goes by the name of Destiny wears a slinky red dress showing off a killer body. Even when her face occasionally morphs into a truly grotesque visage, she’s still alluring. The character turns out to be the best thing about Devil’s Domain, which attempts to elevate its familiar genre tropes by throwing in moralizing lessons about online bullying, among other things.

We first told you about Halcyon International Pictures preparing a slate of low budget movies based on classic movie monsters under the "Famous Monsters of Filmland" banner in 2010, but over the years things have changed a bit! Read on for the latest details.
The main change is to the name of the banner itself. Gone is the "Famous Monsters of Filmland" moniker, and in its place we have the far less snazzy name of the "Still Night Monster Movie Series."
Either way, a trailer and some new artwork are here for their first release, Dracula Reborn, which is being billed as a modern retelling of Bram Stoker’s classic novel.
Dani Lennon, Rene Arreola, Linda Bella, Corey Landis, and Stuart Rigby star. Patrick McManus directs.

*a screener of this film was provided by Osiris Entertainment.
**here be some spoilers.
Director/writer: Jason Horton.
Cast: Lee Perkins, Linda Bella, Curt Mega and Paul Misko.
This film should really have been called Angels and Hellhounds. With that aside, Jason Horton's fifth film as director takes place in Big Bear National Park where a film crew is shooting a low budget horror movie. Their film then turns into a real horror film when an earthquake releases hounds from hell onto the set. Now, the crew is chased down by a host of creatures that look more like walking crabs than anything else. Meanwhile, dir. Horton satirizes his real life as a low budget filmmaker through the character Jayson (Glen Plummer).
At the black heart of this film is the producer Bravo (Blaine Cade). It seems that hell has released him temporarily from below. He will be brought...

Lift your glasses to Paul Morrell, the director of Filth to Ashes, Flesh to Dust. The man had a good weekend. The indie film was screened in 11 theaters and had a nice haul.
Following the exploits of a serial killer named Purge, Filth to Ashes features a trio of uber-uber-hotties: Allison Ochmanek, Linda Bella and Meredith Laine. My lord! Feel free to follow me on Twitter, ladies... @doctorgash. I'm not just another pretty face!).
Sorry, let me focus here … Filth to Ashes opened in 11 theaters and had the 5th highest per screen average of the week. That's including everyone, folks; the big boys, too. The film brought in $86,000 (good for #38 overall) and not bad considering the entire production only cost $18,000. Playing with the house money now, gang. Congrats, guys!
The film also stars Anton Troy from Chillerama and Crissy Moran. You can check out the trailer below or on the Filth to Ashes,...

Filth to Ashes Flesh to Dust In the vein of such horror classics as The Hills Have Eyes, Just Before Dawn, The Final Terror and The Forest comes Filth to Ashes, Flesh to Dust from director Paul Morrell (Texas Chainsaw Musical). Filth to Ashes, Flesh to Dust appears to pay tribute to those horror films of yesteryear through story and by capturing the intense atmosphere that made those films so memorable while carving out its own stake in the modern horror film world.
In Filth to Ashes, Flesh to Dust, Eric and Shelly take a back road while driving home from a road trip to avoid a traffic jam. They encounter the serial killer Purge. Eric survives but Shelly is murdered. A year later, A group of adventure-seeking high school grads venture to Purge's lair. Amongst them is Eric's brother Juan. Eric sets out to save his brother and get revenge on Purge.

Director Jason Horton is now in post-production on his creature feature Monsters in the Woods. The first trailer for the feature was posted (here) on Fangoria earlier this week. Now, Horton has passed on a couple exclusive photos from the shooting of the film. Actress Jacqui Holland is seen left as Suzi, with what appears to be a life-threatening branch impalement. A second photo is inside, which shows characters Kris (Paul Misko) and Ashley (Linda Bella) in an embrace. Horton says that he is working on the "actual cut this week" and that: "this is definitely the best material I've had to edit with" (Zapruter).
The film is a bloody satire on independent filmmaking and the challenges that directors go through to simply make a film. Even lower budget productions encounter fierce competition and pressure from studios to follow certain formulas. These elements are in Horton's tongue-in-cheek Monsters in the Woods.

Everyone promises "new horror icons" with their movies. Few deliver, though we must admit that Paul Morrell's new flick Filth to Ashes, Flesh to Dust does sound pretty damned promising.
The film, which prides itself on being based on the good old fashioned slasher films of the Seventies and Eighties only with a modern twist, tells the tale of lunatic who refers to himself simply as "Purge" and has tasked himself with the Herculean effort of ridding society of its weak.
Given that everyone has their own weaknesses, this broadens the spectrum for our new madman to pick and choose his prey. Speaking of which, the flick stars Crissy Moran, Linda Bella, Allison Ochmanek, Stephen Zimpel, Christina Iannuzzi, Dana Chapman, and many more potential victims.
Check out the early one-sheet and trailer below. For a bit more visit the official Filth to Ashes, Flesh to Dust website here.
