Lugo was born on July 3rd, 1976 in New York City. He earned his BA in Film Production from CUNY: Brooklyn College. Lugo works as a DGA 1st Assistant Director. His credits include: A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night (2014) and the first season of Amazon's Harlem (2021). Lugo also serves as the President of the Brooklyn College Film Department Alumni Association.
