A lot of bad stuff happens on the Hulu original series "Tell Me Lies" — helmed by Meagan Oppenheimer and adapted from Carola Lovering's hit novel — and one of the very worst things happens to Macy Campbell (Lily McInerny). A young woman who ends up caught in Stephen DeMarco's (Jackson White) orbit (which is largely troubling because Stephen is terrible to women) and who has a connection to the series protagonist Lucy Albright (Grace Van Patten) in both the book and show, Macy meets a terrible and tragic fate, and in both narratives, it ends up creating huge consequences for everyone.

"Tell Me Lies," which mostly focuses on the tortured relationship between Stephen and Lucy in the book but devotes plenty of time to the supporting characters on the Hulu show, is pretty dark, and the story of what happens to Macy is no exception.

The Tell Me Lies ending concludes with Stephen (Jackson White) shocking Lucy (Grace Van Patten) at two different points in time. Based on the novel by Carola Lovering, Tell Me Lies season 1 is mostly set in 2007-2008. This is during Lucy's freshman year at Baird College in New York while Stephen is a junior. The 27-year-old Tell Me Lies actress and Italian actor Giuseppe De Domenico filmed scenes for their upcoming Amanda Knox limited series on Friday (November 15) near the coast in Olevano Romano, Italy.

In the upcoming series, Grace is portraying Amanda Knox while Giuseppe, 31, is playing Knox‘s then-boyfriend Giuseppe De Domenico.

Hulu’s Amanda Knox series is causing an uproar in the Italian city of Perugia, where the show – executive produced by Knox herself – has been filming 17 years after the murder of Meredith Kercher.

The arrival of the show’s cast and crew last week in the university town, where Knox’s British roommate was found dead in their room on Nov. 2, 2007, has prompted angry locals to put up banners that read “Rispetto per Meredith” (“Respect for Meredith”). The outcry has led the city’s mayor, Vittoria Ferdinandi, to issue a letter of apology to Perugia citizens, which was published in Italian newspapers.

“We could have not authorized the filming of five scenes in Perugia,” the Perugia mayor said in the letter, “but they would have been filmed in any other town in our region.”

She continued: “We believed that allowing [the scenes] to be filmed here would provide us an element of...

When asked by Vanity Fair if the show’s third season would be delayed due to star Grace Van Patten‘s role as Amanda Knox in an upcoming limited series on her life, Meaghan responded, “I have no idea. I know that Hulu won’t make a decision for a while. They actually have a certain amount of weeks that they have to wait before they can even make a decision.

The possibility of a time jump in Tell Me Lies season 3 has been addressed by series showrunner Meaghan Oppenheimer. After watching Jackson White’s Stephen torment Grace Van Patten’s Lucy all throughout the second season of “Tell Me Lies,” Stephen switches up his behavior at the end of Episode 7 in what White calls a “desperate” decision.

Reckoning with whether he’s a good person or not, Stephen turns his attention from Diana (Alicia Crowder) back to Lucy as he arrives at her dorm room and asks her candidly if she knew he was a bad person while they were dating — which she replies “yes” — and if, even still, she loved him then, which she also replies “yes.” He then confesses that he, too, despite knowing the worst things about Lucy, still loves her and makes a proposition for the pair to be together.

“It’s very desperate and guttural,” White told TheWrap of Stephen’s decision to go back to Lucy.

In this new clip featuring an emotional scene, Lucy (Grace Van Patten) makes an appearance in Stephen’s (Jackson White) dream about Macy’s (Lily McInerny) car accident, which causes him to become really confused as to why she’s there.

During the dream, Stephen wakes up after the car accident and tries to help Macy when he sees Lucy walk up to the car. She then helps him get out and she moves Macy to the driver’s seat.

Lucy then says to Stephen, “Look at me. You’re okay Stephen,” before he wakes up in bed.

If you recall, in the season one finale, Stephen and Macy were involved in a car accident after driving drunk while leaving a party. This led to Macy’s death.

Thanks to its showrunner, the status of a possible Season 3 of Hulu's Tell Me Lies received an official update.

The Amanda Knox limited series at Hulu has added four new cast members, Variety has learned.

Currently titled “Amanda,” the series has added John Hoogenakker, Francesco Acquaroli, Giuseppe De Domenico, and Roberta Mattei.

The quartet join previously announced series lead Grace Van Patten as well as Sharon Horgan, who will play Knox’s mother Edda Mellas.

Hoogenakker will play Curt Knox, described as “Amanda Knox’s fun-loving but stoic father who, despite his divorce from her mother, is a great dad to his daughters. He leads the charge to defend his daughter in the press.” Acquaroli stars as Giuliano Mignini, “the Italian prosecutor in Amanda Knox’s case. A man with a need to prove himself, he’s convinced of Amanda’s involvement in the murder from the jump, and he finds his life and legacy defined by his relationship to her.”
