What is worth noting about the Zookeeper cast is the stellar voice cast behind the animals and the actual animals themselves. The movie features some iconic animal performers, like Crystal the Monkey who provides the physical likeness for the tufted capuchin Donald, and the late Bart the Bear 2 who plays the grizzly bear Jerome.

‘Bad Monkey’ just premiered on Apple TV+ and it is already sparking conversation about the show being promising and it potentially being Vince Vaughn’s best performance to date. The novel Set in the Florida Keys, ‘Bad Monkey’ is based on a novel by America's finest satirical novelist, Carl Hiaasen, who made sure to target everything from environmental destruction to political corruption in this 400 page novel. The first episode seems to be following not only the plot line but also patterns from the book. Much like the novel, the series uses dark humor and absurd situations to critique numerous aspects of society. Zak Williams, Robin Williams‘ son, is paying tribute to his father’s memories a decade after the star died. On Sunday, August 11, Zak, 41, posted a poignant homage to his father on social media, accompanied by a nostalgic photo of Robin playing Mork from the classic sitcom Mork and Mindy.

Five years after Battle of the Smithsonian (and eight years after the first Night at the Museum), Ben Stiller will be stepping back into the role of night security guard Larry Daley this December for Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, the third and final installment in the series. Today, we’ve got the first images for the threequel, which Fox has released ahead of the film’s first trailer debut later this week.

Nick at Nite has announced that the Scott Baio sitcom See Dad Run will return this Sunday, September 8th, at 8pm.

The sitcom is currently in its second season and the cable channel ordered 20 episodes this time around. Only six have aired thus far.

Sunday's episode finds David (Baio) becoming a party planner for his daughter Janie’s party. To outshine her friend's party, he books a famous monkey (Crystal the Monkey from NBC's cancelled Animal Practice) but things quickly get out of hand.

In addition to Baio, See Dad Run stars Alanna Ubach, Bailey Michelle Brown, Jackson Brundage, Mark Curry, Ramy Youssef, and Ryan Newman.

July 16 marks the 20th anniversary of the release of "Free Willy," the emotional family film which stole the hearts of viewers. It’s that time again. Over the next few weeks, broadcast insiders will watch dozens of TV pilots in contention for fall. Executives will debate their merits in meetings, publicists will chat about their favorites over lunch and agents will trade hallway gossip about which titles are hot. Some everyday folks will see the pilots, too — roughly 300 civilians wrangled into carefully monitored focus groups.

But like nearly every year since the dawn of TV, this evaluation process will happen in private. Networks will spend millions creating entertainment programs written by top Hollywood writers starring brand-name celebrities that the public will never see.

"Community" will hit the NBC airwaves once again on February 7, and Alison Brie (Annie) is more than ready for it.

However, it doesn't look like Annie is in for much romantic action with Abed (Danny Pudi), despite the two having a makeout session last season.

"I think of him as a brother! I don't know if I see them together romantically," Brie told Vulture. "I do sometimes feel sorry for Annie on the love front, because I do want her to have a love interest ... Abed gets a new love interest [in Season 4] who is more Abed-like. I can't say who."

Boo! NBC has pulled what was the last scheduled episode of cancelled freshman comedy Animal Practice, slated to air tomorrow night, Halloween. NBC was to keep Animal Practice on until Whitney takes over the Wednesday 8 Pm slot next week. But a Sandy-related string of NBC pre-emptions included repeating the storm-impacted Monday edition of The Voice on Thursday, pre-empting NBC’s 8-10 Pm comedy block. 30 Rock’s episode this week is election-themed, so it didn’t make sense to air it after next Tuesday’s election. Plus, the comedy is on a tight schedule to end its 13-episode final season before Community rejoins the lineup Feb. 7. So we’ve probably seen the last of Crystal the monkey’s hijinks as Animal Practice‘s run ends at 6 episodes.

Six seasons and a movie? Sure, that’d be nice, but right now fans of Community are simply trying to find out when season 4 will finally air. There’s no word on that this morning, but NBC’s underdog comedy is addressing the delay of the premiere, originally scheduled for Oct. 19. It comes to you in the form of a “Troy & Abed in the Morning” segment, and features the whole cast in character. NBC has put down freshman comedy series Animal Practice, which will continue to air in its 8 pm slot on Wednesday nights until November 7th.  Starting November 14th, NBC, in the network's infinite wisdom, has decided to start airing new episodes of Whitney.  There is no word yet on when fan-favorite and critical darling Community will return from limbo for its fourth season.  From the way NBC has handled their comedic properties, one would assume that Crystal the Monkey was in charge.  Clearly that's not the case as Crystal would never cancel her own shows.  Hit the jump to get this sorted out.  THR reported on the cancellation of Animal Practice, a half-hour comedy series that focused on the men, women and animals of a veterinary practice.  The show starred Justin Kirk, JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Kym Whitley, Betsy Sodaro, Bobby Lee, Tyler Labine, June Diane Raphael and, of course, Crystal the Monkey.

Fall TV has its second casualty, and it's Crystal the Monkey!Ok, not literally, but "Animal Practice" -- the NBC sitcom that featured the famous monkey from "The Hangover Part II," and debuted during the last night of the Summer Olympics -- will be yanked from the network next month. NBC has officially axed Animal Practice. After declining ratings (it was down 9 percent again last night) it's time for Crystal the monkey to hang up her lab coat. And it turns out that the comedy that will take the Wednesday night slot is a familiar one. Whitney will join the lineup starting Nov. 14 (we were sort of hoping it would be Community, too). Has "Animal Practice" been canceled? NBC is replacing the comedy starring Justin Kirk and Crystal the Monkey with "Whitney."

"Whitney" will premiere on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 8 p.m. Et on NBC after the network delayed its premiere a few weeks ago.

"Animal Practice" has struggled in the ratings since making its official debut. The series brought in a healthy audience after a preview following the 2012 Olympics -- close to 13 million viewers -- but audiences didn't stick with the show, which is set in an animal hospital. Its most recent episode on Tuesday, October 17 brought in 3.8 million viewers and had a 1.0 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Its fellow new NBC comedy "Guys With Kids" has been faring better, but not by much. "Guys With Kids" had 4.3 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in the demographic in its most recent telecast.

"Animal Practice" is the first new NBC show to get the boot.

That 1.0 adults 18-49 rating last night didn’t do flailing new NBC comedy Animal Practice any favors. The network just announced that Animal Practice will be replaced by Whitney, whose second season will premiere November 14. Animal Practice will remain on the air until then. It has been a fast fall from grace for Animal Practice, whose pilot was previewed during NBC’s coverage of the Summer Olympics’ Closing Ceremony. But the comedy starring Justin Kirk and Crystal the monkey never found traction when it launched last month. Meanwhile, NBC signaled that it may have other plans in store for returning comedies Whitney and Community last week when it pushed back the shows’ scheduled Friday debut. Whitney and Guys With Kids are the only multi-camera comedies on NBC, and now they will run together. The move brings Whitney to the Wednesday 8 Pm slot where it aired for the second half of last season.

Crystal the monkey is out of a job.

NBC has cancelled struggling freshman sitcom Animal Practice. Filling the Wednesday at 8/7 void beginning Nov. 14 will be Whitney.

Though Practice initially benefitted from a strong Olympics lead-in, the Justin Kirk-starring veterinarian comedy consistently pulled low numbers, this week mustering just 3.8 mil and a 1.0. The show’s Wednesday companion, fellow rookie comedy Guys With Kids, appears safe for the moment.

Whitney was originally scheduled to premiere this Friday along with Community, but NBC announced last week it was keeping both shows in its “back pocket [in case] we need to make any schedule changes” earlier in the week.

"It may be my favorite picture ever," Annie Potts says. And she's not talking about a photo with her co-star Justin Kirk, but one with that other star of Animal Practice : Crystal the Monkey.

"I've worked with a lot of actors and I have to say Crystal is unbelievably magnetic, gifted, totally natural and she's very direct-able," Potts tells TVGuide.com. "I've had costars that were a lot of more difficult. She's adorable. Almost as adorable as Justin."

If you've ever been worried about being overshadowed by a monkey, "Animal Practice" star Tyler Labine can relate.

After Crystal the Monkey, who plays Dr. Rizzo on the NBC sitcom, saw high scores with "Animal Practice" test audiences, Tyler Labine -- who plays Dr. Doug Jackson, a vet recovering from a breakup, on the show -- worried it would become all about Crystal.

"It was like, 'This isn't going to become 'The Crystal Show,' is it?" Labine said, according to New York magazine.

Labine had a right feel threatened by the show's four-legged star. Not only does Crystal make $12,000 per episode, but she has her own IMDb page. And she's only 18!

When "Animal Practice" premiered in August, it instantly became one of the most reviled shows in the history of American TV.

And for that, the show itself was not to blame (not much, anyway). But NBC chose to break away from their live (not live) coverage of the Olympic Closing Ceremony Aug. 12 to showcase the veterinarian sitcom starring Justin Kirk, JoAnna Garcia Swisher and Crystal the Monkey instead of the live (not live) performances of no-names like Muse and The Who.

But TV audiences are a forgiving sort, and should be open to judge "Animal Practice" on its own merits when it debuts in its regular time slot tonight (Sept. 26).

But does it have any merits?

Host Seth MacFarlane entertained with a number of amazing impressions during "Saturday Night Live's" impressive premiere, but he made the biggest splash as laidback Olympic gold medalist swimmer Ryan Lochte.

Introduced by Seth Meyers on "Weekend Update" to review the new fall shows, MacFarlane said of his exciting summer: "I was America in Olympics." Wearing a track suit and gold medals, MacFarlane's Lochte said he was most excited about "Monkey Hospital" (confusing the title of NBC's "Animal Practice," which features Crystal the Monkey).

" It's so funny. It's not fair they give all the best lines to the monkey. I give it three swims." (Out of three.)

It’s September, and you know what that means: It’s time to meet new shows in addition to reuniting with your returning favorites.

Each year, networks decide what shows to keep, move around and cancel, leaving open spots for a gaggle of new series. This month, many of the pilots for these shows will make their small screen debut. It may be overwhelming to be faced with 20 new shows this fall, so I’ll explain which programs did and didn’t make the cut for my DVR queue.

Here are my picks for the best new series of the fall TV season. (Note that this ranking did not take into account the mid-season premieres, even though there are some stand-out players in that arena.)
