Adam J. Merrifield is a British-born Producer from Bournemouth UK. Following the 2010 broadcast of Adam's award-winning Silent Things starring Andrew Scott, Adam was awarded emerging producer status by Film London and subsequently went on to produce the physiological noir thriller Emulsion starring Outlander's Sam Heughan. His follow-up film, the environmental documentary Drying For Freedom, tackles the issues of clothesline bans in America, secured US distribution and was broadcast on PBS to critical claim. Adam subsequently partnered with long-time collaborator Writer/Director Dan Pringle on the development of K-SHOP, a Sweeney Todd-inspired movie pitching a kebab shop owner against hordes of obnoxious binge-drinking punters, which went on to land him a BIFA nod in the breakthrough Producer category. With the support of Creative England, Adam's production outfit White Lantern Film has gone on to produce numerous films including To England, With Love and A Cottage Christmas for Reel One Entertainment and Die Before You Die which represents Adam's sixth feature outing as lead producer.
