Floriana Panella, best known by the stage name Roberta Gemma or Roberta Missoni, is an Italian actress related to adult industry and horror movies.
She started as a cleaner in a company in Rome. In 2003 she sent some artistic photographs to a specialized web portal whose prize was to enter the calendar of the monthly magazine Max. Her images were quite successful, and soon she began to perform in various strip shows, first in clubs in Rome and then in other parts of Italy.
She debuted in the world of pornography in 2005 thanks to the production company CentoxCento, for which she starred in two of her first films. She gained international prominence in 2006 when she starred in The Order (2006), from Francesco Fanelli, with which she won at the Eroticline Awards the award for Best International Newcomer. It was at this time that she began to use the pseudonym Roberta Missoni, which she had to withdraw after a complaint from an Italian haute couture firm, at which point she changed it to her professional name Roberta Gemma.
In 2009 she had a small role in the Italian giallo House of Flesh Mannequins (2009) and started collaborating in smaller horror films in Italy, such as Bloody Sin (2011) (2011), Hyde's Secret Nightmare (2011) (2011), Q smette di ricordare (2013) (2013), in 2015 with a larger role in The Transparent Woman (2015) and A Taste of Phobia (2018) (2018).
She won several Eroticline Awards over the following years, participated in various erotic shows, television programs, music videos and festivals as an erotic model both in Italy and in European countries and in the United States.
She retired professionally to adult industry in 2021, having worked in more than 60 films.
