"There's something evil in this house..." Focus Features has debuted the first official trailer for The Little Stranger, the latest film from director Lenny Abrahamson. This suspense horror is set in the 1940s, where a country doctor encounters a family "haunted by something more ominous than a dying way of life." The film definitely has a creepy vibe to it, but this trailer plays more like a period-piece mystery thriller. Domhnall Gleeson stars as Dr. Faraday (with an impressive mustache to boot), and the full cast includes Ruth Wilson, Charlotte Rampling, Will Poulter, Anna Madeley, Kate Phillips, Josh Dylan, Camilla Arfwedson, and Amy Marston. I dig how luscious and detailed the whole film looks, from the scenery and sets to the cinematography by Dp Ole Bratt Birkeland, and the lovely music. I'm not that frightened by anything in this trailer, but I'm very curious about it and I want to see more.

Fox Home Entertainment has one of the most successful franchises with the Wrong Turn sequels, featuring the cannibalistic brothers One Eye, Saw Tooth, and Three Finger slashing their way into the hearts of horror fans everywhere. The latest installment is Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines, arriving on Blu-ray and DVD October 23, with the addition of horror icon Doug Bradley joining the cast. Since 2003’s “Wrong Turn” with Eliza Dushku and Emmanuelle Chriqui, the “Wrong Turn” series has become a cult favorite for its die hard fans.

“Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines” marked its fifth entry into the franchise with a certain twist—the favorite hillbilly cannibals are not stalking for victims in the mountain forests this time, but in a small town.

The backdrop of the movie has a small West Virginia town hosting the Mountain Man Festival on Halloween (think Lollapalooza meets Burning Man Festival).

One of the members of the cannibal family was arrested and jailed in town, and then it was up to the three brothers to rescue their family. However, the local sheriff and a few out-of-town visitors defend themselves from this oncoming attack.

Halloween is getting closer and closer so let’s have some fear. Here’s news of the franchise’s younger sibling/bastard offspring Wrong Turn – 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has unveiled a restricted trailer for Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines.

A sequel to a prequel is directed by Declan O’Brien for the third-time and will become available on DVD and Blu-ray on October 23rd, just in time for Halloween.

The horror genre hit stars Camilla Arfwedson, Roxanne McKee, Doug Bradley, Oliver Hoare and Paul Luebke.

In what is one of the longest running horror franchises in recent years, the Wrong Turn series of films continues with Wrong Turn 5: Bloodbath. This film is currently shooting in Bulgaria. Wrong Turn 5 will also be a prequel similar to Wrong Turn 4. This title takes place after Wrong Turn 4 and before the original film. Also of note, Hellraiser actor Doug Bradley will participate in this venture. For now, an early concept poster has become available. British actress Camilla Arfwedson ('The Duchess') has officially joined writer/director Declan O'Brien's hillbilly horror follow-up 'Wrong Turn 5'. Arfwedson (below) plays Sheriff Angela in the Halloween set sequel which is also due to star a whole array of mostly British talent most likely due to its Bulgaria based shoot. Amongst the stars are Simon Ginty who plays Billy, Oliver Hoare (Julian), Amy Lennox (Cruz), Paul Luebke (Gus), Duncan Wisbey (Mose), Kyle Redmond-Jones (Deputy Biggs) and Peter Brooke as Jason. Horror icon Doug Bradley ('Hellraiser') also stars. We had reported that ex-'Hollyoaks' hottie Roxanne McKee was also on board the project but it's still not 100% whether this is accurate although her name has been attached. When “Wrong Turn 4″ was announced as a prequel to the series, I had a feeling it wasn’t going to be any good. Guess what? Turns out I was right. Not only was it slow and boring, the movie didn’t spend a whole lot of time with the clan of mutant hillbilly freaks. Which, you know, is pretty much the only reason anybody watches these things in the first place. In fact, this misguided origin story is so horrible that I like to pretend that it doesn’t exist. So when “Wrong Turn 5″ finally arrives, in my mind, it’s only “Wrong Turn 4″. I hope I haven’t confused anyone. Yes, it would appear that “Wrong Turn 5″ is actually happening, and apparently Doug Bradley has already been added to the cast. Rumors are also swirling around various genre-obsessed websites that Camilla Arfwedson will tackle the role of the female lead.

A Bulgarian DC reader by the name of Stevenson has written in once again to let us know that television actress Camilla Arfwedson (pictured) has joined the cast of the film as the female lead who will be tangoing with the inbred cannibals of the backwoods.
