With dreams of a professional baseball career, he made the bold move to Sydney and later ventured to the U.S. as a camp counselor in pursuit of new opportunities.
However, life took an unexpected turn. A combination of injury and heartbreak forced Elliott to step away from the sport he loved. But in that setback, a new path emerged. In 2007, he landed the lead role in a Volvo-sponsored TV commercial for the Asthma Foundation, directed by the esteemed Marc Furmie. This experience ignited his confidence and became a pivotal moment in his transition into acting.
Eager to expand his creative footprint, Elliott took a leap in 2009 by serving as executive producer and financier for the short film Denouement (2009), written by Peter R. Kirk. The film's success was immediate, winning Best International Film at the Southern California Film Festival and Best Drama at the West Hollywood International Film Festival. It also earned honors at numerous festivals worldwide, solidifying Elliott's passion for storytelling and his determination to excel as a producer.
Since then, Elliott has built an impressive resume across television, film, and commercials. His credits include roles in acclaimed series such as Redfern Now, Crownies (2011), Secret Daughter (2016), Here Come the Habibs! (2016), Rake (2010), and the hit U.S. crime series Deadly Women (2008).
