Here at Arrow in the Head we like to watch horror for the holidays – whether that be Christmas or any other holiday you throw our way during the year. So with Christmas just a week away, The Arrow in the Head Show hosts John “The Arrow” Fallon and Lance Vlcek have decided to prepare for the holiday by taking in a viewing of Black Christmas. No, not the 1974 classic, and not the 2019 Blumhouse remake. The one that came out in between those two. The 2006 version of Black Christmas, which you can watch Here. To find out what The Arrow and Lance think of this one, check out the video embedded above.
Written and directed by Glen Morgan, Black Christmas 2006 has the following synopsis:

With writer/director Declan O’Brien’s Joy Ride 3: Road Kill releasing to DVD and Blu-ray this Tuesday, June 17th, here’s additional coverage stemming from our set visit last summer to the same in Winnipeg, Canada.
Written and directed by O'Brien, whose previous horror entries include the Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment features Wrong Turn 3, Wrong Turn 4 and Wrong Turn 5 (as well as Syfy's Sharktopus), Joy Ride 3: Road Kill (review) originated with the 2001 Paul Walker-starring, J.J. Abrams-co-scripted film Joy Ride.
Produced by Kim Todd, this installment (which melds the worlds of tuner car racing and road-trip horror) stars Ken Kirzinger (Freddy vs. Jason) as the project's villainous truck driver 'Rusty Nail.’
Joining him are Kirsten Prout (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) as tuner-car girl ‘Jewel McCaul,’ Jesse Hutch (Freddy vs. Jason) as racer ‘Jordan Wells,’ Benjamin Hollingsworth (of the television series “Cult”) as mechanic ‘Mickey Cole,...

Writer/director Declan O'Brien's 'Joy Ride 3: Road Kill' is now available on VOD and will shortly be arriving on both DVD and Blu-ray. And Shock Till Your Drop have managed to score a trio of new and exclusive stills from the movie which sees the murderous trucker Rusty Nail back on the road and doing what he does best...knocking off unsupecting young drivers. I can't imagine when it lands here in the UK it'll have the same title as the 'Joy Ride' franchise itself is already known here as 'Roadkill', so deal with that marketing pros. The threequel stars Kirsten Prout, Dean Armstrong, Ben Hollingsworth, Jesse Hutch, Gianpaolo Venuta, Leela Savasta, Sara Mitich, J. Adam Brown and Jake Manley. Head below for the new images....

Two men hear a noise in the woods and see a man wearing a mask in the shadows. One Year later a team from Atlantis find the mask. Beckett (Paul McGillion) is leaving to help others. Sheppard (Joe Flanigan) tells him they've found one of Michael's labs which he has to check out before he can go. Sheppard didn't tell Beckett there'd be so much walking involved, he complains like Rodney (David Hewlett). Sheppard is shocked to see four women heading up the Atlantis team headed by Major Teldy (Christina Cox), with Mehra, (Janina Gavankar) Alison Porter (Nicole de Boer) and Vega (Leela Savasta). He wasn't going to say his team were "a bunch of girls!" She picked the best and the brightest. Sheppard: "Funny how that worked out." They picked up a lock in the signal to the catacombs and discovered statis pods. Beckett isn't familiar with this facility.

Apparently these season 9 episodes aren't being shown in the order listed, which is really frustrating! An explosion at a sugar refinery provides the team with this week's case and Horatio (David Caruso) and Delko (Adam Rodriguez) are on the scene to rescue and pull out two people alive. There's one Db, whom Me Tom (Christian Clemenson) refers to as "fragile." He states it looks like a bomb went off in there and he wasn't that far wrong. The blast shattered his bones. Nina (Leela Savasta) recognizes his watch and IDs him as Eduardo (Bryan Cid Borreo) her fiance. Walter (Omar Miller), Ryan (Jonathan Togo) Natalia (Eva La Rue) and Delko process the refinery. Horatio finds the presence of sugar dust, which in excessive quantities could cause an explosion. Natalia says it's on everything. Horatio doesn't think it was an accident. Walter says there are regulations in place to prevent such...
