Kerry Knuppe is an enrolled Oglala Lakota Sioux tribal member from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. She moved to Los Angeles after breaking into the film industry with her lead performance in SXSW Audience Award winner Skills Like This (2007). At the 2022 Red Nation Film Festival, Kerry won the Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role award for her lead performance in the film On Sacred Ground (2023) about the 2016 Standing Rock-Dakota Access Pipeline protest. Kerry's other recent film leads include Nicolas Cage's western The Old Way (2023), Universal's R.I.P.D. 2: Rise of the Damned (2022) with Jeffery Donaven, & All Those Small Things (2021) with James Faulkner.
