It was a very big day for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and also potentially a bit of a boring one for those who decided to watch all five-plus hours of a livestream that boiled down to slowly revealing names of actors on chairs. Be that as it may, the livestream in question revealed the massive cast of next year's "Avengers: Doomsday." Directed by Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, of "Infinity War" and "Endgame" fame, this movie promises to be a big, multiversal affair.
The cast includes actors from just about every era of Marvel on the big screen, even before the MCU was even a thing. That includes many of the "X-Men" stars of old. With a cast this huge, it makes it all the more intriguing to examine the actors who weren't part of the announcement. Despite the fact that Marvel revealed a list of nearly 30 names,...

Gwyneth Paltrow has exposed Nikki Glaser for trying to bang her ex.
And the best part of this story is that Nikki is not denying that she repeatedly reached out to Ben Affleck in an effort to score a spot in the Batfleck’s bed.
That surprising revelation came during the latest episode of Gwyneth’s podcast.

During a conversation about the dating app Raya, Nikki surprised the Goop goddess by revealing her attempts to bang Ben.
Nikki Glaser says she was rebuffed by Ben Affleck
“When I used to be on Raya and he would come across, [I would give him a] very concentrated check mark ‘yes’ and, like, never [got] it back,” Glaser said.
Gwyneth dated Ben way back in the ’90s, so she obviously wasn’t upset about Nikki’s confession.

Sir Michael Caine was "terrified" seeing Heath Ledger as The Joker in 'The Dark Knight'.The 92-year-old screen legend - who played butler Alfred Pennyworth opposite Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne / Batman in the 2008 movie - has reflected on his experience watching Ledger transform into the iconic villain. He wrote in his memoir 'Don't Look Back, You'll Trip Over': "As Alfred says to Bruce, ‘Some men just want to watch the world burn'."And that was Heath’s version of the character: the smeared make-up, the weird hair, the strange voice."It was chilling. Absolutely floored me the first time I saw him in action — I was terrified!"Caine loved working with 'Brokeback Mountain' star Ledger, who tragically died from an accidental overdose aged 27 in 2008.He recalled: "He was a lovely guy, very gentle and unassuming. Daisy Edgar-Jones is weighing in on her male co-stars, who she says have supported her being top billed over them.
Edgar-Jones has had many A-list male co-stars like Glen Powell on Twisters, Sebastian Stan on Fresh, and Paul Mescal on Normal People.
“I have worked with basically all of the internet’s boyfriends,” she said in an interview with Elle. “And I’m lucky that every actor I’ve worked with has been incredibly supportive of me being the lead. Glen, Sebastian, Paul, all of them. I think that’s why they’re so successful and so loved and so good: that they are so generous, and they really serve the story and are not serving themselves.”
She continued, “Glen was always like, ‘What’s Kate’s journey in this? Let’s find it.’ And same with Sebastian; he was so completely invested in Noa’s journey. Paul’s like...

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is gearing up for its first big crossover in more than seven years, and all the pieces are falling into place to make history happen yet again — or at least, some of them are. See, multiple actors have gone on record to say they won't appear in Avengers: Doomsday ahead of filming. Both Chris Evans and Kathryn Hahn confirmed audiences won't see them suit up and reprise their roles as Captain America (or a multiversal Human Torch) and Agatha Harkness, even if the multiverse as a whole will undoubtedly need them. Unfortunately, that list just gets longer and longer as more time goes by.
There's no denying that all eyes are set on Avengers: Doomday and Secret Wars to feature the return of beloved characters we haven't seen in years. Unfortunately, not everyone will be able to aid in the fight against Victor Von Doom, even...

Daisy Edgar-Jones said in an interview with Elle Magazine that she is quite fortunate her A-list male co-stars have never taken issue with her being the lead star over them. When it was revealed that longtime James Bond stewards Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson would no longer be producing the next 007 movie for Amazon MGM Studios, the question became “Who will?” The answer, as reported across multiple trades Tuesday morning, is Amy Pascal and David Heyman, two veteran producers who know plenty about the world of massive franchises.
Pascal, in her role as an executive and chairperson at Sony/Columbia Pictures, oversaw the production of the Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movies as well as James Bond adventures Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, and Skyfall. After leaving Sony in 2015, she became an independent producer on movies including The Post, Little Women, and the Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars will usher in a new era for the MCU. But, it will have to do so without one of the franchise's strongest characters. Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Wanda Maximoff, a.k.a. The Scarlet Witch, in various MCU movies, including her own Disney+ series, WandaVision, has addressed her potential role in Avengers: Doomsday (directed by Joe and Anthony Russo), and it might surprise a lot of fans.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Elizabeth Olsen gave an unfortunate update about her MCU future. Despite many rumors, Elizabeth Olsen confirmed to the outlet that she won't be reprizing her long-running role in either Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars. Spider-Man Actresses Playing Tennis(Photo Credit –Facebook/Instagram)
Hollywood casting has a way of weaving together unexpected connections. But here’s a fun one—every actress who’s played Spider-Man’s love interest has ended up on a tennis court, at least on screen. Call it a coincidence or just a weird industry pattern, but Kirsten Dunst, Emma Stone, and Zendaya have all taken a swing at playing tennis players in films.
Kirsten Dunst was the foremost to stroll onto the tennis court. After playing Mary Jane Watson in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy, she starred in Wimbledon (2004). The actress played Lizzie Bradbury. She is a rising tennis star, who falls for a struggling pro (played by Paul Bettany). It wasn’t just a casual sports flick—Dunst actually trained to make her moves look legit.
In 2017, Emma Stone played tennis icon Billie Jean King in Battle of the Sexes.

Fans haven't given up hope on Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man trilogy, even after plans for that sequel were scrapped. A concept trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 proves how that Venom crossover would have been an easy layup.
A new concept trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 offers a glimpse of how that film would have played out. It's a somber sequel that picks up immediately after Gwen Stacy's death. Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker mourns her death as her voice helps him deal with the loss. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hinted the Sinister Six was coming after revealing the Rhino in the end; that sparked hope the epic crossover would happen, that was until plans for Part 3 were shelved. "The Amazing Spider-Man 3: New Beginning" offered an alternative storyline, however, and it's partly inspired by Venom: The Last Dance.
The trailer imagined Peter duking it out with Venom in a symbiote storyline.

Did Steve Buscemi almost take the Iconic Reservoir Dogs Role? (Photo Credit – Wikipedia)
Quentin Tarantino nearly stepped into a very different pair of shoes in Reservoir Dogs and had it not been for one absolutely killer audition, the entire film might have looked a little different.
Now, Tarantino isn’t just any director, he’s Hollywood’s mad genius, the mind behind Pulp Fiction, the Kill Bill saga, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and a whole blood-soaked parade of cult classics.
If you consider yourself a true Tarantino fan, you would probably know by now that there’s one thing he loves almost as much as crafting razor-sharp dialogue and unforgettable violence – that’s sneaking himself into the frame. He’s done it in Inglourious Basterds, Death Proof, and, of course, Reservoir Dogs, where he played the ill-fated Mr. Brown.

When it comes to Spider-Man, every generation has its favorite. But for many fans, Tobey Maguire’s portrayal in Sam Raimi’s trilogy remains unmatched. His web-slinging adventures not only redefined superhero cinema but also delivered some of the most unforgettable moments in comic book movie history. What Is The Secret Behind The Title Of Morgan Freeman’s Classic? (Photo Credit –Instagram)
There are great actors, and then there’s Morgan Freeman, a living legend whose name alone commands a presence. His voice is often regarded as a signature of Hollywood greatness. With a career stretching across decades, the 87-year-old veteran gifted the world with performances that leave an indelible mark.
He has done it all, whether playing God in Bruce Almighty, solving twisted mysteries in Se7en, or making us laugh and cry in The Bucket List. But one film, released in 1994, stands out above the rest: The Shawshank Redemption.
A Movie That Transcended Its Box Office Struggles
Now, Shawshank isn’t just any film. Despite its lukewarm box office reception, it is a cinematic heavyweight that grew into a beloved classic, often whispered about in film circles, and is one of the best to grace the silver screen.

On day one, he was already bruised. In week one, he was covered in them. But instead of complaining, he soaked it all in. The actor told Slash: “We’re two weeks in. The first week was full of stunts, and I’ve never felt happier in my whole life. I’m all bruised and scratched up, and it feels really good. It’s just me throwing myself up against walls, which is incredibly fun and painful and testing my manhood.

After the billion-dollar hit of "Spider-Man: No Way Home," the fourth Tom Holland-led Spidey movie has been surprisingly slow-moving. But it is in the works, and targeting a July 2026 release date. "Spider-Man 4" recently scored a new female lead in actress Sadie Sink, but what about the movie's big bad?
There's been no confirmed villain and, truthfully, the Spider-Man films have already gone through his major adversaries. "No Way Home" even brought back past villains for a multiversal Sinister Six. That probably cools the chances of us getting a Marvel Cinematic Universe-original Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, etc. for now.
Kraven the Hunter has been the perennial "they'll definitely do him in the next movie" pick since back when Andrew Garfield was still going to get his "Amazing Spider-Man 3." But Sony instead chose to make a (terrible) "Kraven the Hunter" solo movie, so I doubt they'll want to drag him out again so soon.

The hunt for the next James Bond is still a mystery and will likely remain one for a while, as it seems even the studios haven’t figured it out yet. If Henry Cavill takes on the role, though he’d be a perfect fit, he’ll face immense pressure. Not only will he be stepping into Bond’s prestigious shoes, but he’ll also be carrying the weight of a £250 million (approximately $323 million) film alone, thanks to Amazon.

Whoever takes on 007 isn’t just playing a role; they’re inheriting a legacy. Will Cavill rise to the challenge, or will another contender shake (not stir) things up?
The next James Bond film comes with a license to spend, thanks to Jeff Bezos!
The next James Bond film is shaping up to be a record-breaker, not just in action but in budget, too.

Radiant opposite Andrew Garfield in John Crowley’s doomed romance, the British actor’s star quality has always shone through, from her debut in The Falling to folk horror Midsommar and her definitive Amy in Little Women
Industry pundits are fond of telling us that the movie star is a dying concept: that blockbusters are now sold on characters and intellectual property rather than actors, to the point that even a colossus such as Tom Cruise has lately limited himself only to franchise work. That may be true, though my own definition of a movie star is looser, less money-minded and very much alive: someone, put simply, who holds your attention in pretty much anything.
Florence Pugh is one. Her most recent film, We Live in Time – currently on VOD and hitting DVD shelves on 24 March – is more or less a monument to her star quality, and that of her leading man,...

In Hollywood, movie franchises have long been a favorite of viewers. From Mission: Impossible to the iconic Harry Potter, such movie series have gathered a lot of attention throughout the years. But among this, the James Bond franchise can easily give others a run for their money.
Being the iconic 007 is still a dream for many, and with Daniel Craig’s departure after No Time to Die, fans are eagerly anticipating who will take on the role.

Apart from this, David Heyman, who’s also one of the most successful producers out there—second only to Disney’s Kevin Feige—is reportedly interested in taking over the franchise. This could also be a perfect chance to bring fresh energy to the movie series, and in this, Henry Cavill’s name stands out as the ideal choice.

Fans were definitely shocked to hear that Amazon now has full creative control over James Bond, but what’s going to surprise them even more is the fact that Amy Pascal is reportedly in talks to develop the upcoming movie. Harry Potter’s David Heyman will also join her.

Well, they’re at it again. I’m speaking of the “brain trust” at the “Mouse House” who are diving into the Disney Classics vault once more to remake another one of their animated features. And this is their “deepest dive” yet in this “sub-genre” of “re-imagining” those “2-D”, hand-drawn animated masterpieces into “live-action” films that will hopefully attract a new audience (and enhance the ole’ “I.P.”). It perhaps started nearly thirty years ago with 101 Dalmatians, and had its biggest success with 2019’s The Lion King, with spin-offs like the “backstories” of villains Maleficent and Cruella and the recent prequel/sequel Mufasa: The Lion King. Now it’s “back to the beginning” with a live “re-do” of what was then jeeringly referred to (by the “Tinseltown” gossips) as “Walt’s Folly” in 1937, as animation formally (there had been a few silent-era experiments) burst out of the six or seven-minute...

Though we still don't know for sure if this is accurate, enough insiders have weighed in that we are inclined to believe that there is something to the recent rumor that Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' untitled Spider-Man 4 will introduce a female villain.
Apparently, this mysterious character has already been cast, but won't be played by Stranger Things star Sadie Sink, who is believed to be joining the MCU as a new take on Mary Jane Watson.
Shortly after the initial rumor broke, Jeff Sneider sent out an X post which appeared to hint that another redheaded actress with the initials "SS" may have either been cast or in talks, and he pretty much confirmed who he was referring to during tonight's episode of The Hot Mic.
Based on Sneider's clues, we'd say he was most likely talking about Succession star Sarah Snook. The reporter also mentioned that he...

It’s been a long road for Disney’s live-action iteration of Snow White starring Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot. From Covid delays to criticism regarding the fairy tale’s depiction of little people, racist fans taking issue with Zegler’s Latina heritage, and a premiere event that excluded journalists, the production was mired in problems virtually from the time it was announced in 2016. But finally, the film itself has arrived, set to be released in theaters on March 21.

Whenever a new actor is cast for a role the rumor mills will start. As a writer, it’s important to check social media and other websites and sources before saying something is a fact. Or, in the case of Sadie Sink, put words like “rumor” in the title when things like her Spider-Man 4 casing come up.
This March, it was announced that the Stranger Things and Fear Street star Sadie Sink would play a role in Marvel Studios’ next Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland. It was a natural assumption that people would think she would be cast as Jean Grey due to her red hair and fiery attitude on screen (Phoenix pun intended). However, Sink quickly dispelled those rumors saying, “This is news to me” during an interview with Josh Horowitz.
The rumors are really cool though. It’s an awesome rumor!Sadie Sink

Rachel Zegler Snow White Review (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Disney’s hotly anticipated Snow White is finally here, but did critics love it? To divert attention from the many controversies incited by lead actress Rachel Zegler’s outspoken stance, the House of Mouse desperately seeks favorable reviews to woo audiences.
Unfortunately for Disney, when it confidently lifted the review embargo on Wednesday, expecting a positive critical reception, the results were quite the contrary. Snow White has manifested a milquetoast response, with even its positive reviews ceasing well short of calling it a masterpiece.
Snow White holds a 48% “rotten” score on the namesake site after 83 critics weighed in, its aggregated score stranded at 5.5/10. While not abysmal, this number falls below Disney’s recent middling releases, including Moana 2 (61%) and Mufasa: The Lion King (57%). Over on Metacritic, Snow White sits at an equally unimpressive 46.

Between the original Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy, the Tasm reboots and the latest McU-set films, we've seen Peter Parker face-off against most of his best-known bad guys on the big screen. We still don't know who Tom Holland's web-slinger will come up against in Spider-Man 4, but a new rumor may have narrowed things down quite a bit.
According to scooper Mttsh, Spidey will tangle with a female villain in the upcoming movie.
Apparently, the character has already been cast - but won't be played by Stranger Things star Sadie Sink, who is believed to be joining the MCU as a new take on Mary Jane Watson.

Spider-Man doesn't have that many major female foes, so Felicia Hardy/Black Cat would seem like the safest bet.

Isabel Sandoval, the Hollywood-based Filipino filmmaker behind the critically acclaimed “Lingua Franca,” is putting the finishing touches on her latest feature “Moonglow,” a romantic noir set against the backdrop of Marcos-era Philippines in 1979.
The film is selected for the Hong Kong — Asia Film Financing Forum (Haf), the project market that operates concurrently with Hong Kong FilMart.
The Filipino-language thriller follows Dahlia, a disillusioned police aide who steals money from the safe of her corrupt police chief boss, distributing it to slum dwellers whose homes were destroyed. Unaware of her actions, the police chief assigns Dahlia to investigate the theft alongside his nephew Charlie — who happens to be Dahlia’s former lover.
“I’ve always been enamored with the methodical, slow-burn thrillers of Jean-Pierre Melville,” Sandoval told Variety. “The idea of marrying those sensibilities with the lyrical camerawork and romanticism of Max Ophüls is how the film started.”

Let’s cut to the chase—Hollywood isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Sure, it’s the land of luxury and limelight, but behind the flashing cameras and designer clothes, it’s not always the picture-perfect scene we imagine. Take Ryan Reynolds for example. The guy who makes cracking jokes look effortless and stars in rom-coms we can’t help but binge.
But even he has his moments where, let’s just say, reality hits harder than a poorly timed punchline.

For example, the infamous scene from The Change-Up (2011), where things got a little more steamy than he expected. And no, we’re not talking about the plot…
So, Blake Lively’s handsome husband found himself in a situation where his co-star, Olivia Wilde, stripped down for an intimate scene. At one point, she even placed his hands on her chest—and what did Mr.

As hard as it might be to imagine, few family movies in recent years have come to theaters with as much online baggage as Snow White. The Disney live-action remake starring Gal Gadot and West Side Story breakout Rachel Zegler has been central to several controversies since Disney announced the project and its cast in 2021. Ahead is everything about the live-action Snow White and why it has become so fraught.
Racist backlash to Rachel Zegler
Disney was so bullish on Zegler that she landed the title role in Marc Webb’s film before the release of West Side Story. “Rachel’s extraordinary vocal abilities are just the beginning of her gifts,” Webb said in June 2021. “Her strength, intelligence, and optimism will become an integral part of rediscovering the joy in this classic Disney fairy tale.”

Sadie Sinkmade headlines last week with her casting in the highly anticipated Spider-Man 4. The Tom Holland-led feature will start filming shortly and all eyes and ears are on the cast and filmmakers for any potential leaks or clues for fans to know what’s in store. Even before the trades could make the announcement, the fandom speculated she would be cast as the new Jean Grey of the MCU, taking over the role from the likes of Famke Janssen and Sophie Turner. Another speculation is that she’s cast as Gwen Stacy, famously played by Emma Stone opposite Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-Man films.

A new set photo from Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has fans buzzing—and it looks like Tom Holland’s Spider-Man won’t be happy about it.
A new image from the show’s set, shared by Chris Gallardo of Hollywood Handle, reveals a campaign poster for Wilson Fisk, who has now become the Mayor of New York City. The poster features the phrase “Making NYC Safe” along with a phone number: 555-nomasks. This clearly suggests that Fisk is cracking down on masked heroes, making life much harder for vigilantes like Spider-Man, Daredevil, and the Punisher.
This isn’t the first time Fisk has publicly attacked superheroes. In Episode 2 of Season 1, he made a direct reference to some of New York’s most well-known vigilantes, saying:

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is no stranger to fan theories, rather it is one of the most attractive points of the franchise that draws fans. Now that Tom Holland’s fourth Spider-Man film is in the making and Sadie Sink has reportedly been roped in for an unnamed role, one of the most exciting ideas currently circulating is that she might play Tobey Maguire and Kristen Dunst’s on-screen daughter.

Since the upcoming flick is rumored to be yet another multiversal adventure, to be released between Doomsday and Secret Wars, this theory does make sense and could be a game-changer for Holland’s next movie.

She’s piecing together the clues in a way that makes you wonder—could this be more than just tabloid fodder? Let’s unpack it.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a big interconnected machine where every single movie and TV series takes part in the same world and builds towards the same narrative. As such, even the smallest of changes in the upcoming slate of projects could have dire repercussions that would need a lot of workarounds. Unfortunately for Disney, we've seen more and more of these unfortunate changes in plans over the last few years.
Kang is no longer the main antagonist of the Multiverse Saga, big projects such as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness were released much later than originally anticipated, and no shortage of films have been reportedly scrapped at Marvel. But the worst part? A highly-anticipated movie that was announced almost six years ago could have been delayed until after the events of Avengers: Secret Wars. There goes our hope of seeing a beloved Marvel icon join Earth's Mightiest Heroes in their upcoming crossover.

Exclusive: After winning practically every single award out there for his turn in The Penguin, Colin Farrell is looking to get back in business with DC: and that’s to star in the title role of Luca Guadagnino’s Sgt. Rock.
Note, this is a different part of the DC-verse, with The Penguin attached to Matt Reeves’ The Batman sphere, whereas Sgt. Rock is part of DC bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran’s oversee. The two worlds shall never overlap.
Scheduling for the film, which Farrell wants to do, we hear, has to be balanced with his busy fall that includes the second season of Apple TV+’s Sugar and Edward Berger’s movie The Ballad of a Small Player.
Farrell takes over for Daniel Craig, who was originally kicking the tires to reteam with Guadagnino after they made Queer.
Farrell will play Sgt. Franklin John Rock in the World War II-set movie.

Sadie Sink is one of the up-and-coming names in Hollywood’s entertainment industry and she’s already lighting everything on fire. While she has been acting since seven, having kickstarted with local theater productions, the love and fame she has earned since her breakthrough with Stranger Things has only cemented her place further, and she’s only 22.

In fact, one of the biggest accomplishments of the actress might as well be accepted to be the fact that she is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe now as well, considering her reported casting in the upcoming Spider-Man 4. But while that’s that, she is also being speculated to play Jean Grey in the X-Men league—though Sink had a rather cryptic response to this one.
