Warner Bros is once again digging into Fortnite as part of a promotion for Ryan Coogler‘s upcoming Sinners. Based on the film starring Michael B. Jordan, the Sawhorse-developed Sinners: Survive the Night has just launched in Fortnite, and pits teams of six players against vampires in a Survival Horror challenge.
Per Variety, Sinners: Survive the Night features likenesses of Jordan and other members of the cast in a custom map based on the film. Gameplay features an albeit expected (but welcome) twist that’s akin to Halo‘s Infection Mode: those players who have been eliminated subsequently become vampires, forcing players to fight against their former teammates.
The main goal for Human players is to survive until daylight, while the Vampires must eliminating all remaining human players before dawn. In-game currency can be collected by recruiting Npc allies and unlocking items within the experience.

Horror is a genre that we cinephiles can't live without, despite how frightening and disturbing it can be. The genre has a certain appeal that lends viewers chills and thrills, which is something that we all crave in our lives occasionally. Over the years, several amazing horror films, such as Hereditary, Smile, and Midsommar, have proved yet again that horror hasn't gone completely downhill since the 1990s and that modern films are worth watching.
Similarly, many more innovative horror films have been released in recent years, with some bringing classic cartoon characters as terrifying serial killers who will stop at nothing. With the release of various intriguing horror films in 2025, including Companion, Nosferatu, and The Monkey, the year appears to be rather promising, but it will be a long road before we see the end of it. In the meantime, these are the best horror movies that will be released...

The anticipated supernatural period thriller, Sinners, sees Michael B. Jordan pulling double duty in the Warner Bros. tentpole. A new preview of the upcoming blockbuster sees the award-winning actor portraying his twin brother characters.
Via DiscussingFilm on X (formerly Twitter), a new Sinners poster shows Jordan decked out as twin brothers Smoke and Stack in front of a vintage vehicle, sporting similar suits but different hats to distinguish them. The poster also confirms Sinners will be getting an IMAX 70mm release as the film was shot using IMAX cameras.
Though Jordan's characters are twins, he recently insisted that the characters have very different mannerisms, with Smoke, who's on the left in the poster, being the more confrontational of the two brothers, with Stack being the more reserved character. Sinners, a genre picture and a period piece from frequent collaborators Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan – who have worked on Fruitvale Station, Creed, Black Panther, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever together as director and cast member, and have other collaborations that Coogler didn’t direct – is set up at Warner Bros., has a budget of around $90 million, and is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 18, 2025 (having moved back from a previously announced March release date). Earlier today, we shared the latest poster for the movie, and now Coogler and Jordan have gone ahead and shared a creepy clip from the film that deals with a traditional piece of vampire mythology: that vampires can’t enter a place unless they’ve been invited. Writer-director Ryan Coogler and star Michael B. Jordan introduce a new clip from Sinners below.
“It’s cut down to avoid as many spoilers as possible, but it’s a really great scene to show what all we’re playing with and a little bit of the world,” Coogler explains.
“I typically don’t like watching horror movies, because I generally get scared,” Jordan admits. “But I don’t think I’ve laughed as much during the process of shooting a movie.”
Shot with IMAX film cameras, the period vampire film opens in theaters on April 18 via Warner Bros.

Before he returns to the MCU to helm Black Panther 3, Ryan Coogler will dip his toe into the horror genre for a period vampire tale starring frequent collaborator Michael B. Jordan.
Sinners is set to hit theaters next month, and Warner Bros. has now released the first full clip from the movie.
There may be spoilers ahead.
Coogler and Jordan introduce the new preview, which finds Cornbread (Omar Benson Miller) attempting to convince one of Jordan's character's, Smoke (he plays twin brothers), to invite him inside. Wunmi Mosaku's Annie doesn't believe that Cornbread is simply being polite, and rightly guesses that he has another reason for needing an invitation to the dance.
Smoke puts his hand over the threshold to give Cornbread his money, and the clip concludes with a quick flash of fangs.

As a result, many movie enthusiasts still prefer to see them in theaters, creating an ongoing demand for more projects. If you're wondering what to watch the following month with so many new releases, we've got you covered. The year 2024 was a significant one for horror movies, highlighted by a successful awards season and dominance by the genre at the box office. Notably, the Oscars recognized four films within the genre, signaling a growing appreciation for horror’s artistic merit.
The Academy Awards have historically marginalized horror films, with The Silence of the Lambs in 1991 a notable exception. Its “Big Five” sweep — Best Picture, Director, Actor, Actress, and Adapted Screenplay — remains a unique achievement. However, the recent nominations of films like The Substance and Nosferatu indicate a growing willingness to acknowledge the genre, signaling a potential change in the awards landscape.

Jordan in a vampire film, the third Warner Bros. movie of 2025, where an actor plays dual roles — following Mickey 17 and The Alto Knights. Sinners is directed by Ryan Coogler, who has just come off two back-to-back Black Panther films, meaning expectations are high. But movie fans can breathe a sigh of relief, as Spike Lee has given the film a glowing endorsement.
The legendary director behind classics like Do the Right Thing, Malcolm X, 25th Hour, BlacKkKlansman, and Da 5 Bloods, had the chance to screen Sinners early, and has nothing but great things to say about the movie. Lee posted a photo with director Ryan Coogler on his Instagram in front of the poster for Sinners, revealing he got to see a film screening...

Director Ryan Coogler and star Michael B. Jordan are ready to enter the supernatural realm with their latest feature-length collaboration, Sinners. The upcoming Warner Bros. blockbuster gets its official rating, one not associated with a Coogler movie since his first joint venture with his Black Panther franchise teammate.
According to FilmRatings.com,Sinners landed an R-rating heading into its spring release for strong bloody violence and sexual content. This marks new ground for Coogler as Sinners is his first R-rated film since 2013's Fruitvale Station, his critically acclaimed first project alongside Jordan.
Warner Bros. is banking on Coogler and Jordan's partnership to bear fruit again, considering the success of their previous work. Before teaming up with Warner Bros. on Sinners, Coogler and Jordan worked on the beloved Rocky spinoff, Creed, and both entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Black Panther film series. Before he returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a third Black Panther movie, Ryan Coogler will step into the horror genre for Sinners, which is set to hit theaters next month.
On the heels of a spoiler-filled full trailer, Warner Bros. has released a new poster for the movie, giving us another look at Michael B. Jordan as one of two twin brothers who find themselves facing-off against vampires in the Jim Crow-era Deep South.
In addition, the movie has been given an official R-rating for "strong bloody violence, sexual content and language."
Some horror hounds were worried that the studio might bring this one in with a PG-13, but it sounds like, at the very least, we can expect some blood-soaked carnage. Reports from test-screenings have been mixed, but that last trailer definitely seemed to get more people on board.

The new Michael B. Jordan/Ryan Coogler collaboration, Sinners, has been building hype since it was secretively being shopped around to the big studios last year. The project had the studios in Hollywood excited to bid against each other and Warner Bros. would come out on top. A couple of trailers have since dropped and teased some supernatural mayhem. The ratings board has now revealed that the vampire movie has been Rated R for strong bloody violence, sexual content and language.
Coogler has written the script for this project, which has been described as both a genre picture and a period piece. Thenew blood-sucking vampire flick from the mind of Ryan Coogler starring Michael B. Jordan, Sinners, is tracking better than anticipated according to early box office reporting. The top brass at Warner Bros., who are said to be nervously watching their expensive 2025 movie slate at the box office, should be happy to see that the big-budget horror thriller is gaining interest among theater-going audiences.

For whatever reason, boxing plays better on the big screen than in real life. Perhaps it is the cinematic spectacle of watching two people square off in a boxing ring surrounded by rabid fans, or maybe it's the rush of watching a hero exorcise their demons while battling a seemingly superior foe, or perhaps we're all just suckers for fantastic workout montages set to Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger." At any rate, movies about boxing tend to hit harder than other sports dramas, literally and figuratively, producing classic underdog stories that stand the test of time.
You don't have to enjoy boxing to get a kick out of "Rocky" or know the difference between an uppercut and a hook to stand and cheer for "The Fighter." Need proof? Check out this terrific list of the 15 best boxing movies of all time, ranked, and try to find one that doesn't get your juices flowing.

Godzilla x Kong was a surprising hit at the box office when it came out and despite the lukewarm reception by the critics, the franchise is going strong, as the next movie in the MonsterVerse franchise is being worked on. The movie is, of course, a direct sequel to the aforementioned movie.
In it, we are going to see Godzilla and King Kong team up once again against a potentially world-ending enemy, and in light of that fact, it remains to be seen how things will play out. More than a decade has passed since Legendary Pictures secured the rights to Godzilla and other characters owned and created by the Japanese company Toho so they could launch a cinematic universe they call the MonsterVerse – and they also secured the rights to the King Kong character so he could be part of their MonsterVerse as well. Thankfully, Allen took it better than Theon would have.
