The Riverdale season 6 finale has come and gone, and viewers may be wondering what that twist ending is all about. Riverdale season 6 was the show's most bizarre yet, taking it down a supernatural route that creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa swore it would never take. The second to last episode saw the villainous sorcerer Percival Pickens (Chris O'Shea) return back to his home in the alternate universe of Rivervale, but not before ensuring that Bailey's Comet is still headed for Riverdale. To make matters worse, Percival also placed a magical barrier over the town so that civilians inside cannot escape.
During the Riverdale season 6 finale, Veronica (Camila Mendes) formulates a plan where she absorbs the team's powers via a blood transfer and gives them all to Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) through a kiss. However, while Cheryl redirects the comet and saves Riverdale, the show takes a shocking twist at the end of season 6 as the show's main character,...

Who better to turn to than a witch — especially Sabrina Spellman (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina‘s Kiernan Shipka) — after Percival (Chris O’Shea) lets loose plagues on the town? That’s what brings her back to Riverdale for the next episode, airing on July 10. At the end of the latest episode, everyone had thought they had taken care of Percival and celebrated Toni (Vanessa Morgan) and Fangs’ (Drew Ray Tanner) wedding. However, he broke free of the stockade and let loose the final plague: death of the firstborns. In quick succession, quite a few people in attendance at the wedding died, as did, it seemed, Jughead (Cole Sprouse), who’s locked himself away in the bunker, writing and avoiding all the thoughts he can hear (and coming face-to-face with another version of himself). Heather (Caroline Day) was the one to tell the others about a certain necromancer she knows. And the...

Dead Sound, directed by Tony Glazer (Junction) tells the story of four best friends who decide to attend a massive blow-out high school graduation party on Block Island. After missing the last ferry they decide to hire a fishing boat to take them on what should be a simple journey. What they get is the trip from hell, with a captain and his first mate that have no intention of taking the kids to Block Island, putting them into a fight to survive and to simply make it back to land… any land.
It would seem, given the recent release of Harpoon, Blood Vessel, the Gary Oldman-starrer Mary, and now Dead Sound, that horror set...

"I guess anybody could do it, but nobody does..." Sony Pictures has debuted a second official trailer for the sequel The Equalizer 2, directed by Antoine Fuqua. This new trailer is a bit more energetic and action packed than the first one. Denzel Washington returns as Robert "The Equalizer" McCall, a master of vengeance taking out bad people. Based on the 1980s TV series of the same name which originally starred Edward Woodward as McCall. Aside from Washington, the cast includes Pedro Pascal, Melissa Leo, Jonathan Scarfe, Sakina Jaffrey, Ashton Sanders, Lexie Roth, Caroline Day, as well as Bill Pullman. This looks entertaining, but it also looks like pretty much every other big vengeance action movie. At least Denzel looks badass, as he always does. Lock & load. Here's the second official trailer (+ UK poster) for Antoine Fuqua's The Equalizer 2, direct from YouTube: You can still watch the first...

"They're tying up loose ends." "Exactly." Sony Pictures has unveiled the first official trailer for the sequel The Equalizer 2, directed by Antoine Fuqua. This is the follow-up to the surprising 2014 action hit The Equalizer, featuring Denzel Washington as Robert "The Equalizer" McCall, based on the 1980s TV series of the same name which originally starred Edward Woodward as McCall. Apparently this is Denzel's first sequel in his career. Aside from Washington, the cast includes Pedro Pascal, Melissa Leo, Jonathan Scarfe, Sakina Jaffrey, Ashton Sanders, Lexie Roth, Caroline Day, as well as Bill Pullman. Does this look better than the first film or not? It's hard to tell, seems like more of the same vengeful justice with a few intense twists. Don't mess with Denzel. Here's the first two trailers (+ teaser poster) for Antoine Fuqua's The Equalizer 2, direct from YouTube: "Not all enemies are created equal." Robert McCall...
