One of the most surprising hits of 2021 on Netflix is returning next month.
The official trailer for Sex/Life Season 2 is here, and it looks like Billie will have a new love interest in mind.
The trailer also seemingly confirms that it's all over between Billie and Cooper.
"I'm not [upset], I'm just done," Cooper says.
Things aren't much better with Brad, either.
"I came to you six months ago with a ring," he tells her, adding the following:
"You said no, and now it's too late."
As for the new man in Billie's life, Majid (played by Darius Homayoun), he looks like a lot of fun.
The first season featured plenty of steamy twists that got the fans talking -- and streaming.
Will the show be able to live up to its moniker again for the second time?
We'll need to tune in when the series returns, but if the trailer is any indication,...

Our “Sex/Life” is now back on track.
After Billie (Sarah Shahi) chose ex and arguably her first true love Brad (Adam Demos) in the Season 1 finale, the aftermath is exposed with Billie’s husband Cooper (Mike Vogel) pursuing a new relationship of his own.
Margaret Odette, Cleo Anthony, Craig Bierko, Darius Homayoun, Dylan Bruce, Jonathan Sadowski, Li Jun Li, and Wallis Day also star in the Netflix series.
The second season is teased to be unpacking the love triangle between a woman, her husband, and her past that takes a provocative new look at female identity and desire, per the official logline. Last September, as NBC’s Midnight, Texas neared its Season 1 finale, I feared End Times were upon us.
Though the summer series’ ratings had risen throughout its inaugural run, it was far from a lock for a renewal. The drama, loosely based on Charlaine Harris’ novels, was very quirky. And though Midnight, Texas had heart, style and a healthy sense of what it was (and wasn’t), it also had some of the worst special effects seen on TV since Supernatural‘s Leviathans.

After scoring a last second renewal, the cast and crew of Midnight, Texas worked to create a stronger True Blood descendant.
Midnight is fast approaching on the set of Midnight, Texas.
The mountain scenery surrounding the town is barely visible and the only lights are from Midnight, Texas, itself – or at least the staged approximation of Midnight in the desert just outside Albuquerque, New Mexico. The neon lights of Strong Angel Tattoo and Nails parlor are lit up with a second set of neon light lights unnecessarily announcing “Tattoo Nails.” The Midnight Pawnshop’s sign is lit up, promising entrance 6 days a week, 24 hours a day – but no one is inside.
Instead, the cast and crew of NBC’s adaptation of author Charlaine Harris’ supernatural books are assembled inside the Crystal Desert Hotel & Spa, shooting an integral scene from Midnight, Texas’ Season 2 two-part finale.

Nestor Carbonell, Jaime Ray Newman and Josh Kelly (UnReal) are set to recur on the upcoming second season of NBC’s supernatural drama series Midnight, Texas.
Based on the best-selling book series by Charlaine Harris, Midnight, Texas, stars François Arnaud, Dylan Bruce, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Arielle Kebbel, Jason Lewis and Peter Mensah.
Carbonell and Newman will recur as Kai and Patience Lucero, respectively, the owners of Midnight’s new hotel. Their sudden arrival in town causes a stir and has the Midnighters suspicious about what is really going on. Kelly will recur as Walker Chisum, an openly gay demon hunter who has an intense connection with resident angel Joe Strong (Lewis).
Kai (Carbonell) is a magnetic, holistic energy healer and Patience (Newman) is his savvy and beautiful wife. Drawn to Midnight’s unique energy, they have opened Crystal Desert, a hotel and New Age healing center.

Friday's Comic-Con schedule is packed with panels and events for horror fans, but Saturday's schedule is looking good as well with panels for TV shows like Stan Against Evil and The Purge. As for me, the highlight is going to be the Warner Brothers Theatrical panel, where we're expecting to get the first look at Michael Dougherty's Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

Happy Birthday, Frankenstein
This upcoming Halloween, there will be an international celebration of the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. And with that comes a plethora of books and movies rejoicing this occasion. At this panel, listen to authors talk about the influence that Mary Shelley's writing had on their works and why people still obsess over Frankenstein. And watch as they talk about the monsters that never die in their own novels.
