Pauley Perrette’s forensic scientist Abby Sciuto was easily one of the best characters on NCIS, thanks to her Goth style and quirky manners. She made her first appearance in the first season of the crime procedural in 2003 and continued to provide breakthroughs for the McRt team until Season 15. Fans of NCIS are still shocked after the news that Emily Wickersham has exited the CBS procedural as Ellie Bishop.

Now, the star's co-star's are speaking out following the big farewell that aired on NCIS Season 18 Episode 16.

Brian Dietzen, Katrina Law, Diona Reasonover, Maria Bello, and Duane Henry responded in the comments section of Wickersham's post in which she confirmed her exit.

Dietzen, who plays Jimmy Palmer, wrote, "So damn proud of you my friend. Also, I’m gonna miss the hell outta you on set. I can’t wait to see what you do next. Whatever it is, I’ll be there in the front row. Thank you."

Fred Savage makes his talk-show host debut Sunday on Fox’s “What Just Happened??! With Fred Savage” — a very real aftershow based on a very not real sci-fi series called “The Flare.” Well, not real for now, at least, as the “Wonder Years” alum is thinking maybe his show could help its fake lead-in get the green light.

“I’ll be honest, we’re hoping that it’s not so fake,” Savage — who hosts, co-created and executive produces “What Just Happened??!” — told TheWrap. “I mean, ‘The Flare’ does exist — just a scene at a time. The books are obviously completely made up, but the show itself, like, we have a real cast, a real director, and I think it’s a good show.”

“The Flare” is based on fictional author Tj Whitford’s sci-fi book series, “The Moon is the Sun at Night,” which has been a favorite of Savage’s since childhood.

Kristin Kreuk is staying on the case at The CW: The network has acquired Season 3 of the Canadian import Burden of Truth, starring the Smallville vet, TVLine has learned. Eight one-hour episodes will air in 2020.

The investigative legal drama’s second season, also featuring Rookie Blue‘s Peter Mooney, premieres stateside this Sunday at 8/7c on The CW. Unfortunately, it's that time again where we have to inform you that your favorite show is scheduled to be delayed for another week before they begin the final four episode countdown. So, this coming Tuesday, April 24, 2018, CBS will not be airing a new episode. Recently, CBS put out an official press release for their upcoming episode 5 of this current season 15. It features a brief teaser description of the episode, and it sounds like we're going to see some pretty serious stuff take place. The NCIS team is going to discover a major breach when they investigate a new case. Additionally, McGee will get pretty embarrassed and more. The CBS press release also revealed that episode 5 is entitled, "Fake It Til You Make It." According to their description, we're going to see Reeves get quite distraught because he's going to see his friend get kidnapped! Hey, "NCIS" fans. We've got some interesting news for you guys in regards to the upcoming episode 4 that's due to air next week. CBS recently put out an official press release for the episode. In it, is a little teaser description of what's in store. We've learned that we're going to see a new female agent arrive on the scene. This had already been reported a few weeks back. But now, it's finally time to see her in action! The upcoming episode 4 is entitled, "Skeleton Crew," and it's going to feature the arrival of NCIS Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane (above right). She's played by actress Maria Bello. CBS' description tells us that Director Vance will welcome her aboard at some point during this episode. NCIS isn’t messing around in its season 15 kick-off.

On Tuesday’s action-packed premiere, titled “House Divided,” the story picks up two months after the finale, and finds Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and McGee (Sean Murray) locked up, looking worse for wear, in a rebel prison in Paraguay. Though there were moments where their survival seemed dicey (see: their fistfight, which was later revealed to be part of a ruse), they came out the other end alive but ultimately scarred from their experience.

“It really hits the ground running,” Murray told Et of the premiere. “It’s quite an episode. We’ve never done anything like it.” The actor breaks down the biggest developments from Tuesday’s episode and talks Maria Bello’s impending introduction, as well as the show’s “renewed” focus.

NCIS is adding some female presence.

Maria Bello has joined the cast of NCIS as a new series regular for season 15 and will be introduced in the fourth episode.

Bello will play an NCIS agent, described as "a positive force, mischievous and at times acerbic," who was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the army and served two tours in Afghanistan. After joining NCIS, she built her reputation as the agency’s premier forensic psychologist. Unlike the other agents, she can second guess and challenge Gibbs (Mark Harmon), so there will be friction but also mutual respect.

Jennifer Esposito is exiting the CBS procedural “NCIS” after one season as a series regular, TheWrap has learned. The actress played NCIS Special Agent Alex Quinn on Season 14 but will not return when the show launches its next season this fall. It can be rough being part one of a two (or more!) part story.

It's easy to get relegated to set-up, with all the excitement reserved for the back half of the story. NCIS Season 14 Episode 15 didn't exactly escape that, unfortunately.

To be fair, it's a bit more complicated than that; there was a more-or-less self-contained plot for "Pandora's Box, Part I" in the less-than-fake terrorist attack that was an attempted assassination.

The connection to the follow-on portion on NCIS: New Orleans, however, depended on the rather impressively coincidental timing of a hack that resulted in the loss of Homeland Security's terrorist response playbook.

After all, Mr. Vengeance-Murder Homeland Security Aide didn't hack the playbook.

I could complain about the fact that Alex Carter's Homeland Security boss was so stupid and careless to make such a thing vulnerable in the manner he did, but that part was sadly believable.

The Cruel Intentions reboot has met a cruel end. Deadline reports the spinoff TV series has been effectively cancelled by Sony TV.A sequel to the 1999 film, the show would have followed the son of Annette Hargrove (Reese Witherspoon) and Sebastian Valmont (Ryan Phillippe). As season 13 ended, NCIS introduced a couple of potential new regulars, and Duane Henry's Clayton Reeves was clearly the stronger character, so it was a good thing when it was announced that he'd be coming on board full-time in season 14. However, with the addition of Alex Quinn and Nick Torres this season, Gibbs' team is getting a bit crowded. Fortunately, it doesn't look like they're trying to fit Reeves in full-time with the team (at least not yet).
