Ryan Nicholson of Plotdigger Films gave Fango the first look at the DVD cover art for his extreme gruefest Hanger (pictured), now set to hit disc November 17 from the new Breaking Glass company on their Vicious Circle genre label. He also informed us of his plans for an official release of his underground Internet flick Torched, and passed on the art for that one as well.

Hanger stars Nathan Dashwood, Dan Ellis and Fangoria Radio’s Debbie Rochon and centers on the revenge for a botched abortion meted out by the grown-up object of that operation; we previously revealed the specs for the DVD here. Torched, previously available only on bootleg or edited discs, is fully restored on Plotdigger’s DVD, which comes out Nov. 24. Halo-8 Entertainment has unveiled the DVD box art for its upcoming film In a Spiral State, the metaphysical, psychedelic, drug-addled sci-fi/horror film directed by award-winning filmmaker Ramzi Abed. The film comes to DVD on September 29th and is now available for pre-order.

The special features will include:

- Audio commentary by award-winning filmmaker Ramzi Abed, co-creator Ken Cravens, and co-producer Eric Fleming

- Abed's short film "The Tunnel" starring Masuimi Max, Lloyd Kaufman, Mark Borchardt

- Abed's short film "The Interview"

The eclectic cast of In a Spiral State includes the late Gidget Gein (of shock-rock band Marilyn Manson), Bianca Barnett (Albino Farm, review), Elissa Dowling (Dread, review), Juliana Fine (the upcoming Goa), Ofri Fuchs (Twisted), Adam Meir (Waltz with Bashir), Mae Moreno (Boys & Girls Guide to Getting Down), Messy Stench (of Gwar), and Lizzy Strain (The Devil's Muse, review).

Ramzi Abed showed a real affinity for experimental, highly visual films with his The Devil's Muse (review), and we at Dread Central are pleased to provide the first official look at his follow-up, In a Spiral State.

Ramzi provided us with a slew of stills (click each slice below to see the full image) and a teaser that gives viewers a look at A Lot of the movie in a very, very short length of time. The official trailer launches in a few weeks, but he wanted you guys to be among the first to get a taste of what he has cooking.

In a Spiral State comes out this September through Halo 8 Entertainment and was written and directed by Ramzi Abed/edited and musically scored by Ken Cravens. It's the story of Maya, a girl being watched over by two angels, and her journey into darkness and mystery. It's about drug addiction,...
