Trivia

Sex Pistols

Edit
  • Members have included John Lydon, Sid Vicious, Paul Cook, Steve Jones, Glen Matlock.
  • Glen Matlock left the band in late February 1977. The story given was that he was kicked out for "liking The Beatles." The real reason was that he was simply "sick of the bullshit," according to his autobiography, "I Was a Teenage Sex Pistol".
  • Were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006, but they refused to attend the ceremony, calling the museum "a piss stain".
  • They lasted just two and a half years and produced only four singles and one studio album.
  • Despite their popularity, "Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols" is the band's only proper studio album. The 1979 follow-up record "The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle", which contains some half new and half old material, is actually the soundtrack to the movie The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle (1980).
