First there was V/H/S, then there was S-vhs, now comes the upgrade in technology we've all been waiting for, the very creepy Dv! We have an exclusive look at this new found footage thriller written, directed by, and starring legendary filmmaker Evan Jacobs as a serial killer who documents his many murders with an old Dv camera, only to find that he is being haunted by the spirit of one of his past victims. Check out the trailer and poster for this scary first installment of what is a planned trilogy before it arrives in select theaters this fall.

The directing quartet Radio Silence talk about their segment of the horror anthology V/H/S, currently available on Blu-ray and DVD
The horror anthology V/H/S is comprised of six short films made by a host of celebrated directors. One of those filmmakers is actually of a quartet of young directors known as Radio Silence (a.k.a. Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett, Chad Villella, and Justin Martinez). They make their feature debut with V/H/S, after making a popular series of viral videos through their YouTube channel, which has over 60 million views. Their segment of V/H/S entitled 10/31/98, which they wrote, directed, edited, shot, and starred in, follows a group of friends who think they're going to a Halloween party... and get much more than they bargained for. I recently had the chance to speak with these talented multi-hyphenates over the phone. Here's what they had to say.

Director Ti West talks about his segment of the upcoming horror anthology V/H/S, currently available on Blu-ray and DVD.
Director Ti West is at the top of his game, with not one but two fantastic horror features in the same year. He kicked off 2012 by directed the phenomenal thriller The Innkeepers (which was sadly underseen), and now he directs a segment in the upcoming horror anthology V/H/S, which are now available on Blu-ray and DVD after a successful run in theaters and on VOD.
He is one of six different filmmakers (Adam Wingard, David Bruckner, Glenn McQuaid, Joe Swanberg, and Radio Silence) whose unique shorts are combined into one thrilling tale. Ti West's short, dubbed "Second Honeymoon," is one of my favorites, centering on a young couple (Joe Swanberg and Sophia Takal) whose trip takes some incredibly creepy turns. First up, we get a one-sheet inspired by Radio Silence's short '10/31/98', painted by Jason Latour. Secondly, we get Tony Moore's take on Joe Swanberg's 'The Sick Thing That Happened to Emily When She Was Younger'. Enjoy, and then be sure to check out V/H/S in one of its many available venues. Today a new promo poster for V/H/S, a horror anthology featuring horror shorts from directors Adam Wingard (A Horrible Way to Die), Glenn McQuaid (I Sell the Dead), Radio Silence (a group of directors including Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett, Justin Martinez, and Chad Villella), David Bruckner (The Signal), Joe Swanberg, and Ti West (The Innkeepers, The House of the Devil), has been released.
In the film a group of criminals are hired to break into a country home and retrieve a mysterious video tape. Every tape that they watch is more evil and sinister than the one before. The found footage style shows well so far in the V/H/S trailer. It sounded like a simple job but upon entering the house, they find a rotting corpse next to the huge assortment of scary videos. You have to see the trailer as it may be the scariest trailer of 2012 so far.
