Helene McCardle

Helene has been an actress and singer for over 35 years. She has a BFA in acting from Ithaca College, MFA in acting from the University of Washington, and currently studies camera technique at Actors Ave with Michael Petrone. Based in Los Angeles, Helene has worked on many indie films and TV shows such as Cold Case, Grey's Anatomy, The Morning Show, and General Hospital. An accomplished singer, Helene is involved in LA's cabaret scene and has performed at the Gardenia, Ten-20, The Vermont, and First & Hope with her shows "She Sings" and "Torched." Helene has recently expanded into the voiceover world with more than a dozen audio-books, including the Sci-Fi series Tales of Nevaeh, training videos, and commercials. She can also be heard on the app Bardeum, voicing the book "Retiring Becomes Him" about George Washington, written by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Edward J. Larson. Additionally, Helene has worked with several local theatre companies, including The Actor's Company and Ark Theatre Company. One of Helene's proudest artistic accomplishments is helping found the LA Women's Theatre Festival in 1996 and the Outpost Theatre Ensemble. Helene currently serves on the Board of Directors of Nancy Evans Dance Theatre in Pasadena, CA. Outside of acting, Helene loves to travel, especially with her dad, who is over 90 years old! She resides in Pasadena with her kitties Merry and Pippin.
