
There may not be many NASCAR movies, but the ones that do exist are a rollicking good time on the racetrack. While racing is a sport the world over, and car racing is just as popular, particularly of late, thanks to Netflix's Drive to Survive, NASCAR is uniquely American. Developed during prohibition because bootleggers had to make their cars fast enough to outrun the cops, NASCAR was born in the backwoods of America, and it still retains that uninhibited, anything-goes edge that draws millions of viewers each year.
