Sometimes, the best stories are the ones that come out of left field, the ones you didn’t see coming, and The Devil and the Daylong Brothers is definitely one of those. Picture this: a Southern Gothic, a sprinkle of folklore, a dash of violence, and a whole lot of music—it sounds like a cocktail of chaos, doesn’t it?

Nearly two years have passed since Netflix debuted a new season of Black Mirror, even if it feels like much longer. The streamer has finally unveiled a trailer and new images for the upcoming seventh season, along with announcing an April 10, 2025 premiere date.

“You can expect a mix of genres and styles,” stated series creator Charlie Brooker during the 2024 Geeked Week festival. “We’ve got six episodes this time, and two of them are basically feature-length. Some of them are deeply unpleasant, some are quite funny, and some are emotional.”

Among them is the much-anticipated sequel to one of Black Mirror‘s most popular, critically acclaimed episodes, season four’s “USS Callister.” The sequel marks the first time Brooker has ever revisited any of the previous six seasons’ episodes.

A seventh season of the anthology series Black Mirror will be making its way to the Netflix streaming service this year, and it has been previously revealed that Black Mirror season 7 will consist of six episodes, one of which will be a sequel to the popular season 4 episode USS Callister. The streamer has now revealed new images from the season, along with a trailer. It has also been announced that the new episodes will premiere on April 10.

Exclusive: Omar Epps (Power Book III: Raising Kanan), rappers Wiz Khalifa and Quavo, and Chukwudi Iwuji (The Day Of The Jackal) have been set to star in gangland drama Moses The Black, with Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and his G-Unit Film and Television on board as executive producers.

Pic is a story about a gangster in modern day Chicago, inspired by the repentance story of the fifth-century saint of the same name. Epps plays Chicago gang leader and lead character Malik, with Khalifa as 2wo-3ree, the confident and volatile leader of Malik’s young crew. MGM+ has unveiled the official trailer and key art for Earth Abides, a six-episode limited series based on George R. Stewart’s classic sci-fi novel of the same name. The series will premiere on MGM+ on December 1 at 9:00 p.m. Et/Pt.

Alicia Silverstone is heading to the Emerald Isle for her next TV role.

Silverstone will star in and serve as an executive producer of Irish Blood, a murder-mystery drama from AMC Networks’ streamer Acorn TV. She’ll play Fiona Sharpe, a Los Angeles divorce lawyer who receives a letter from her estranged father and travels to Ireland to uncover the mystery of his disappearance.

Filming on the six-episode series has begun in Dublin. Irish Blood’s cast also features Wendy Crewson, Jason O’Mara, Dearbhla Molloy, Simone Kirby, Ruth Codd and Leonardo Taiwo.

“Irish Blood is the story of a woman discovering herself and confronting her past after traveling abroad unexpectedly,” Silverstone said in a statement. “I love how unpredictable the storytelling feels and the combination of drama, humor and suspense my character experiences.”

Doe Doe Shannon has served as a surrogate mother, not just for Mama June but for her children. She helped to raise her sister which came out in their therapy sessions with Dr. Ish. Yet, this was already known but the way she embraced being an aunt to her four nieces. When June was dealing with her substance abuse issues and was here, there, and everywhere with men, Doe Doe stepped up. She made sure that Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird’s babies had everything that they needed.

It's been a solid year since the last season of The Witcher dropped its first five episodes before concluding with the final three the following month, and while a lengthy wait is to be expected, the next season likely has fans frothing at the mouth.

It's hardly surprising since the series dropped the bombshell of Henry Cavill leaving the show due to behind-the-scenes drama, and now people want to know what that means for the series as a whole.
