Spoiler Alert !!!Turn back now if you want to avoid the spoilers for The Devil and the Daylong Brothers!
Sometimes, the best stories are the ones that come out of left field, the ones you didn’t see coming, and The Devil and the Daylong Brothers is definitely one of those. Picture this: a Southern Gothic, a sprinkle of folklore, a dash of violence, and a whole lot of music—it sounds like a cocktail of chaos, doesn’t it?
Directed by Brandon McCormick, this film stirs up a cocktail of action, fantasy, and musical flair in ways that’ll keep you guessing. And while it may not always hit every high note, it certainly manages to strum a few unforgettable riffs that stick.

Nearly two years have passed since Netflix debuted a new season of Black Mirror, even if it feels like much longer. The streamer has finally unveiled a trailer and new images for the upcoming seventh season, along with announcing an April 10, 2025 premiere date.
“You can expect a mix of genres and styles,” stated series creator Charlie Brooker during the 2024 Geeked Week festival. “We’ve got six episodes this time, and two of them are basically feature-length. Some of them are deeply unpleasant, some are quite funny, and some are emotional.”
Among them is the much-anticipated sequel to one of Black Mirror‘s most popular, critically acclaimed episodes, season four’s “USS Callister.” The sequel marks the first time Brooker has ever revisited any of the previous six seasons’ episodes.

A seventh season of the anthology series Black Mirror will be making its way to the Netflix streaming service this year, and it has been previously revealed that Black Mirror season 7 will consist of six episodes, one of which will be a sequel to the popular season 4 episode USS Callister. The streamer has now revealed new images from the season, along with a trailer. It has also been announced that the new episodes will premiere on April 10.
Created and written by Charlie Brooker, Black Mirror is an anthology series that taps into our collective unease with the modern world, with each stand-alone episode a sharp, suspenseful tale exploring themes of contemporary techno-paranoia leading to an unforgettable – and sometimes unsettling – conclusion. Without questioning it, technology has transformed all aspects of our lives; in every home; on every desk; in every palm – a plasma screen; a monitor; a Smartphone – a Black Mirror...

“It has been an absolute thrill to adapt George Stewart’s sci-fi classic. And an even greater honor to deliver a show that is custom-built for our moment in history,” said showrunner, writer, and executive producer Todd Komarnicki. “Because amidst all the wild adventure and story twists and turns, ‘Earth Abides’ provides proof that the one way forward for humanity is…...

It's been a solid year since the last season of The Witcher dropped its first five episodes before concluding with the final three the following month, and while a lengthy wait is to be expected, the next season likely has fans frothing at the mouth.
It's hardly surprising since the series dropped the bombshell of Henry Cavill leaving the show due to behind-the-scenes drama, and now people want to know what that means for the series as a whole.
However, beyond this not-so-little casting shake-up, everything else about the series is still the same, apart from the epic conclusion of the third season that will bring the characters into vastly uncharted territories and worlds in the following season.

The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards honored the best television shows from June 2022 to May 2023, with Succession, The Bear, and Beef dominating the awards. Elton John achieved the highly prestigious Egot status by winning an Emmy for his Farewell From Dodger Stadium program, marking a full-circle moment in his career. Notable genre hits, like The Last of Us and Andor, were snubbed.
Held on Monday, January 15, 2024, the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards honored primetime programming — dramas, comedies, limited series, TV movies, and more — that aired between June 2022 and May 2023.
