ITV presenter Gino D’Acampo has denied “dozens of allegations of inappropriate behaviour” dating back over a period of 12 years.
The Guardian newspaper reports that the Italian chef, who found fame in the UK working as a judge and later presenter of cookery and game shows on ITV, has “firmly denied” allegations in a statement made to ITV News, saying such acts were “simply not in my nature.”
ITV News previously investigated the allegations of misconduct made against him, with behaviour described as “unacceptable” and “distressing” by claimants.
While the investigation continues, reruns of D’Acampo’s old shows have been pulled from the ITV schedule.
The presenter’s statement reads in full:
“I have been told by ITN News that allegations have been made about me acting inappropriately, some dating back over 10 years ago.
“I have never been made aware of these matters previously and the allegations are firmly denied.

TV personality Gino D’Acampo, best known for his work on ITV’s This Morning and hosting numerous shows with Gordon Ramsay and Fred Sirieix, has been accused of inappropriate conduct and intimidating behavior by more than a dozen people.
An ITV news investigation, which broadcast earlier tonight, spoke with multiple people who have worked with him in the past and described D’Acampo making sexualized remarks that made them feel highly uncomfortable, as they detailed incidents that go back many years.
One woman said in 2011 D’Acampo told her he would “like to turn me over and f*** me up the a*** against the kitchen counter.” Another said that on a shoot he opened the door to his room wearing only boxer shorts before making reference to his penis. A third sent in a statement saying D’Acampo said to someone: “If you don’t get me a Cornetto I will f*** your girlfriend.

The reason for weatherman Rob Marciano’s lengthy Good Morning America absence has been allegedly “revealed”.
Since 2014, Marciano has been employed as ABC’s senior meteorologist, providing extensive weather coverage across the network.
But GMA viewers noticed that Marciano has not been presenting from the studio since November 2022, with many social media users wondering why this was.
It’s now being claimed that Marciano has been “banned” from New York’s Times Square Studios, where GMA is filmed, after allegedly making a colleague feel “uncomfortable”.
A source told Page Six that Marciano was accused of “improper” behaviour and “was punished for it”.
While the alleged incident has not been divulged, it’s been claimed by a separate source that it occurred in the wake of Marciano’s divorce from his wife, Eryn, which was announced in July 2022.
This source said Marciano was struggling with the stress caused by the divorce,...

Roman Kemp has been forced to deny that a recent Creme Egg blunder was a prank.
The Capital Radio DJ revealed on Monday (20 March) that he came across a hybrid version of the Cadbury treat – half of which was milk chocolate and the other half white chocolate.
He put a photo of the Egg on Twitter, alongside the post: “What is this??? Half White Half Milk Chocolate??”
It was after this that his followers informed him that this Creme Egg was part of a promotional deal that could have seen him win up to £10,000. However, the DJ confessed that he had actually eaten it before sharing the tweet.
Six of the eggs are worth £10,000, while three are worth £5,000 – and those who discover one must take a picture with the uneaten Egg in order to win the money.
After admitting to the blunder, Kemp was inundated with posts accusing him of...

A comment Fred Sirieix made about Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip has resurfaced in the wake of his co-star’s decision to quit.
On Sunday (19 March), Gino D’Acampo revealed he would no longer be a part of the series due to “problems” behind-the-scenes.
In a video shared with his social media followers, the celebrity chef said that “complications” with contracts had led to his decision, and said he would rather quit than damage his friendship with both Sirieix and Gordon Ramsay.

Gino D’Acampo has hinted that “arguments” have forced him to quit Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip.
The TV chef has withdrawn from the ITV series, which he co-starred in alongside Gordon Ramsay and Fred Sirieix.
D’Acampo made the announcement in an Instagram post on Sunday (19 March), explaining that his decision was inspired by a desire to protect his friendships with both Ramsay and Sirieix.
According to D’Acampo, his hand was forced by scheduling conflicts caused by production, which has caused “complications”.
“Last week, I decided not to film any more Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip,” he said. “The reason is simple... nothing to do with Gordon and Fred – the friendship is very strong – it’s just because we can’t get the dates together.”
The chef went on to say he would “rather the friendship than get into arguments, so I’ve decided not to do Gordon,...

Jason Ritter openly admits to benefitting from nepotism early on in his acting career.
Ritter’s father John, who died in 2003 aged 54, was known for playing Jack Tripper on the popular ABC sitcom Three’s Company.
During an appearance on a recent episode of SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show, the Parenthood actor admitted his first acting job as a child, voicing the Little Acorn in the 1991 cartoon The Real Story of O Christmas Tree, came as a result of his father’s connections.
“I will say, without any hesitation, this was like a full-on nepotism hire. I will admit that,” Ritter joked. “He [John] for sure got me the job. I did try to stay away from that later.”
John voiced Piney, the Little Acorn’s uncle in the cartoon.
Ritter went on to star in a number of roles across film and television, including The Tale, Frozen II and Netflix’s superhero drama Raising Dion.

Gino D’Acampo has quit Gordon Ramsay’s popular ITV show Gordon, Gino & Fred: Road Trip after a row over contracts.
The Italian chef said he would not be filming further series of the travel show, which also stars Ramsay and Fred Sirieix, because of other commitments and “arguments” over contracts.
Gordon, Gino & Fred: Road Trip is produced by Ramsay’s production outfit Studio Ramsay and has consistently performed well for ITV, the British broadcaster.
In a video message on Instagram, D’Acampo told his 1.5 million followers: “Last week I decided not to film any more Gordon, Gino & Fred: Road Trip. The reason is simple, nothing to do with Gordon and Fred — the friendship is very strong … It’s just because we can’t get the dates together. A couple has marked Valentine’s Day in unforgettable fashion by getting engaged live on This Morning.
The soon-to-be-newlyweds appeared on Tuesday’s edition (14 February) of the ITV daytime programme in a special segment, dedicated to romance.
Dan had arranged to publicly ask his partner Ellen to marry him with the This Morning producers ahead of time.
Unbeknownst to Ellen, secret cameras were placed inside a London café where they were having breakfast.
Then, at a crucial moment, fellow customers revealed the words “will you marry me?” under their shirts, as Dan dropped to his knee.
“Since the day I met you Ellen, you make me happy, so happy every day,” Dan began his speech, before referring to their child.
“You’re the perfect mum to Arthur, and I just want to spend the rest of my life with you – which is why I want to ask you to marry me.

Susanna Reid laughed as she tried to “clean up” an Nsfw interview on Good Morning Britain.
Reid was joined by co-host Ben Shephard on Thursday morning’s (8 December) episode of Gmb on ITV.
The pair were speaking with Italian celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo who was promoting his new cooking show Gino’s Cooking Up Love.
Conversation, however, took a turn when D’Acampo recalled that he once met a “blonde girl with huge… personality”.
The interview featured other sexual innuendos and references as the chef went on to say: “All I was thinking is, ‘Am I going to get laid?’”
“Are we allowed to say that?” asked D’Acampo, leaving Madeley and Reid fumbling for words.

Kim Woodburn has said that she’s “bored sick” of the contestants on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! complaining about Matt Hancock.
The How Clean Is Your House? presenter appeared on the ITV reality show in 2009, when she placed second behind Gino D’Acampo.
Writing for Metro.co.uk, Woodburn said that she was annoyed watching the campmates moaning about Hancock, then eating the food he won in the Bushtucker Trials.
“Not one of them that moans about him has got the courage of their own convictions,” Woodburn said. “Oh, they’ll eat his food while they pull him to pieces. You two-faced bunch of pigs!... Bloody stop this nonsense. Stop it altogether.”
Woodburn then complained about Hancock being voted by the public to take part in his first six Bushtucker Trials.
“We know the outcome and want to see other people do it and suffer,” she wrote.

Ant and Dec have confirmed the reason they were forced to pull out of hosting duties for the new spinoff of Britain’s Got Talent.
The British duo were originally expected to present the new ITV talent show, Britain’s Got Talent: The Ultimate Magician.
However, a spokesperson for the series told MailOnline on Wednesday (12 October) that the two were “unable to film” after having become “unwell”.
Instead, they have been replaced by magician Stephen Mulhern.
A representative for the pair later informed The Sun that “Ant and Dec have tested for Covid and unfortunately have both tested positive” and “will be postponing work commitments whilst they recover”.
This also means that Ant McPartlin, 47, and Dec Donnelly, 46, will no longer be in attendance at Britain’s 27th National Television Awards on Thursday (13 October).

Holly Willoughby seemed unimpressed as Phillip Schofield interrupted her during a tense exchange onThis Morning.
Hosting the show on Monday (4 October), the pair sat down for an interview with Polly Brooks, who was caught up in the 2002 Bali bombings and suffered 43 per cent burns.
As Brooks, whose husband died in the terrorist attack, explained how the loss had meant it took a long time for her to be glad that she survived, Willoughby said: “Wow, wow. Gosh, and even-”
However, she was cut off mid-sentence by Schofield, who continued to ask Brooks questions about the incident.
In response, Willoughby pursed her lips and side-eyed Schofield, appearing to be visibly unimpressed.
The clip has gone viral on TikTok, with the voiceover reading: “Holly’s eye roll when Phil cuts her off.”
Commenters suggested that there was “trouble in paradise” between the pair, while others read the “eye roll” as Willoughby “distancing herself” from her co-host.

Master Chef and kitchen hellion Gordon Ramsay is hoping to make Santa’s nice list with Gordon Ramsay’s Road Trip: Christmas Vacation, a holiday special only he could cook up. Here, Ramsay shares his take on spending the season with family, friends, and, of course, food. (Credit: Fox) How does one begin mapping out the search for Santa Claus’ home? Gordon Ramsay: Good question. I tried to ask Siri but she couldn’t find the right answers, so I had to call my friends Gino and Fred! How long have you known them? And more importantly, how well do you travel together? We’ve known each other for years in the U.K. restaurant industry.

ITV has confirmed that it is dusting off Family Fortunes after the entertainment show was last on British television in 2015.
Deadline first revealed in April that ITV was piloting the format in a lockdown environment with Fremantle label Thames, and now the game show, which is based on America’s Family Feud, will return for a 10-part series.
UK chef Gino D’Acampo will host, presiding over two families competing to win cash prizes by second-guessing the responses to a survey of the British public.
Vernon Kay hosted the UK show’s most recent iteration, All Star Family Fortunes, between 2006 and 2015, while Les Dennis and Bob Monkhouse were among the presenters of previous series.
Filming will take place on the new series later this summer. Family Fortunes was commissioned by Katie Rawcliffe, ITV’s head of entertainment, and entertainment commissioner Joe Mace. Ash Whitehouse is the executive producer.
