Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice wasn’t well received by critics and has divided comic book fans ever since its release, but even the movie’s biggest detractors will no doubt be tempted to check out the upcoming R-Rated Ultimate Cut, which is set to hit Blu-ray next month.

Warner Bros.' Point Break remake, arriving this Christmas, takes the same premise of the original classic, featuring an FBI agent going undercover to infiltrate a highly-trained group of thieves. However, instead of the surfing world, the criminals in this remake are all extreme sports athletes, ranging from snowboarding, rock climbing, big wave surfing and much more. Today, Warner Bros. has released a new preview which examines one of these extreme sports, motocross.

Director Ericson Core explains that the motocross sequences were shot in Swingarm City, Utah, which he describes as "the Holy Grail of American motocross riding." We also hear from star Luke Bracey, who plays Johnny Utah in the remake, and actual motocross racer Steve Haughelstine, who explains that no one had ever ridden these "spines" before, and that the racers were getting dangerously close to the cameras during production. In Alcon Entertainment’s fast-paced, high-adrenaline action thriller Point Break, a young FBI agent, Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey), infiltrates a cunning team of thrill-seeking elite athletes – led by the charismatic Bodhi (Edgar Ramirez). The athletes are suspected of carrying out a spate of crimes in extremely unusual ways.

Deep undercover, and with his life in imminent danger, Utah strives to prove they are the architects of this string of inconceivable crimes.

The film, inspired by the classic 1991 hit starring Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves, is scheduled for release in 3D and 2D in select theaters on December 25, 2015.

Apparently the first look at the upcoming Point Break remake from director Ericson Core was shown during CinemaCon down in Las Vegas yesterday and with that comes the first looks at Luke Bracey and Edgar Ramirez in the film playing FBI agent Johnny Utah and extreme sports enthusiast and criminal Bodhi respectively. The duo are playing roles made popular by Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze in Kathryn Bigelow's 1991 film, and for many this remake is completely unnecessary, but it's set to arrive on December 25 nonetheless. NBC’s Red Bull Signature Series host Sal Masekela will be playing a different tune on Sunday when his band’s new song plays during the premiere of Showtime’s “House of Lies.”

Masekela and his musical partner, Sunny Levine — who make up the band Alekesam — released their single “All Is Forgiven” on iTunes on Friday, and it will feature on the comedy-drama on Jan. 11 at 10 p.m.

Olympus Pictures and Paul Haggis’ Hwy 61 announced today it is moving forward with a father-son project inspired by the relationship between Espn sports commentator Selema “Sal” Masekela and his father Hugh Masekela, the jazz musician featured on Paul Simon’s Graceland album and South African apartheid activist who was exiled for more than 30 years. South African filmmaker Mukunda Michael Dewil has been hired to write and direct the film. The Tribeca Film Festival awards ceremony took place on Thursday, and the controversial Cuban film "Una Noche" turned out to be the toast of the town. Though "War Witch" won the award for Best Narrative Feature and Rachel Mwanza was named Best Actress, "Una Noche" became the breakout story of the festival after two of its actors disappeared en route to New York.

Director Lucy Mulloy, cinematographers Trevor Forrest and Shlomo Godder were honored for their work on the film. Actors Dariel Arrechada and Jaiver Nunez Florian both won Best Actor in a Narrative Feature.

Other big winners include Nisha Pahuja's "The World Before Her" for Best Documentary Feature, Bryan Buckley's "Asad" for Best Narrative Short and Frederic Golding's "On the Mat" for Best Feature Film in the festival's online competition.
