Tyler Hilton shrugged it off when his 5-year-old daughter, Winnie, became obsessed with a series introduced by a nanny. “Uh, Ok … a dog family,” he thought, doubting its appeal. But as the musician and actor became unable to escape listening to Bluey’s World in the background of his Canada home, he soon found himself chuckling, impressed and engrossed.

Golden Bachelorette star Mark Anderson is reportedly head over heels for One Tree Hill actress Barbara Alyn Woods. But is he competing for her affection from other suitors?
Golden Bachelorette Star Sparks Dating Rumors With Actress
Viewers watched in shock when Joan Vassos sent Mark Anderson home on The Golden Bachelorette. He was widely considered the frontrunner because of his ties to Bachelor Nation. (He’s Bachelor Season 28 winner Kelsey Anderson’s dad.) However, he never formed a real connection with Joan. She sent him home in Week 5. Joan ultimately chose Chock Chapple as her final rose winner. They’re now engaged and planning a life together.
Fans were hoping he would be the next Golden Bachelor, but it looks like he found love without the help of reality TV. He was spotted with One Tree Hill actress Barbara Alyn Woods in late October. She seemingly confirmed they were dating.

Megan Park’s two features, “The Fallout” and “My Old Ass,” couldn’t be more tonally different — one is about a high schooler dealing with a very contemporary trauma and one is about a high schooler connecting with her future self. With or without help from the vision of her as a 39-year-old (Aubrey Plaza), “My Old Ass” star Maisy Stella’s Elliot needs to figure out, as all high schoolers must, what kind of relationships she wants to pursue.
But a strength of Park’s work across both films is her ability to be both incredibly specific in voice, humor, and pacing about universal themes. One of the challenges and great joys of “My Old Ass” was Park’s ability to shape the film to echo the ‘90s coming-of-age stories she loves, while feeling both of this moment and somewhat timeless.

Fifteen months ago, during a recap episode of the “Drama Queens” podcast, guest Michaela McManus asked co-hosts Bethany Joy Lenz and Sophia Bush whether they’d ever write a book. Lenz responded that she often writes, and that she would love to tell her story. And then she revealed to listeners something shocking about herself. “I was in a cult for 10 years,” she said. “That would be a really valuable experience to write about — and the 10 years of recovery after that. There’s there’s a lot to tell.”
Four weeks later, she talked about the experience at length for the first time, speaking with Variety over Zoom. As she sat outside her Nashville home, we spoke for 45 minutes about the shame she felt, how her “One Tree Hill” cast tried to help and how she ultimately overcame the fear she had about leaving the group.

Halfway though the new coming-of-age movie My Old Ass, things start to get really weird.
Of course, things have already been a little weird up to that point, with the film following 18-year-old Elliott (Maisy Stella) as she deals with the after-effects of a mushroom trip just days before she’s set to leave for college. She’s (possibly?) hallucinated conversations with her 39-year-old self (Aubrey Plaza), and she’s started to have feelings for a mysterious boy, even though she’s gay. Determined to get to the bottom of everything,...

Well, this might not have been the news One Tree Hill fans were hoping to hear regarding Nathan and Haley's place in the possible revival series in the works at Netflix. Bethany Joy Lenz and James Lafferty finally spoke out, and let's just say their updates aren't too encouraging.
Ever since news broke that Netflix is developing a One Tree Hill sequel series from stars and executive producers Sophia Bush and Hilarie Burton Morgan, fans of the popular series have been eager to learn which additional cast members could be joining Brooke and Peyton in the potential revival.
The initial report about the series that's still in early development indicated that Danneel Ackles was in talks to reprise her role as Rachel Gatina and that Chad Michael Murray had "no plans" to appear as Lucas. For her part, Ackles is on board as an executive producer with husband Jensen Ackles.

One Tree Hill is coming back, as lead actresses Sophia Bush and Hilarie Burton confirmed. The two are set to reprise their roles as Brooke Davis and Peyton Sawyer and the news brought happiness to not only the show's fans but the original stars, as well.
One Tree Hill, which originally aired on The WB and later on The CW, came from controversial creator Mark Schwahn. Amid many accusations of assault and harassment from the cast and crew, his career has fizzled out, and he is no longer involved with the new project. Sophia Bush and Hilarie Burton Morgan will executive produce the sequel, alongside Danneel Ackles, who played Rachel Gatina, which is revived thanks to Netflix and Warner Bros. Television. So far, it's unclear whether Ackles, or any of the original stars, are set to return but the news drew big reactions from the cast.

Peyton and Haley both lose their mothers during the run of the show. Quentin is one of the most unexpected deaths in the show. Keith Scott's death in "With Tired Eyes, Tired Minds, Tired Souls, We Slept" is the most tragic of the series.

Two of the most distinct voices in music history are undoubtedly Bob Dylan and Elvis Presley. But if you can believe it, the story goes that the two never actually met. This Sunday, musical artist Tyler Hilton stars in a CBS original holiday film, When Christmas Was Young, with Fear the Walking Dead star Karen David.
Luke Dawson's career is in danger, and he can only save it by getting the recording rights to a Christmas ballad for his only client, Lindsay Wyatt. The problem is the original singer, Melody, is immune to his cocky charm.

We chatted with Tyler about the appeal of this holiday film, working with Karen, and his favorite holiday traditions.
Hi Tyler. I loved your movie. One of the popular themes for Holiday films this year was a singer creating a hit song and someone visiting a small town to realize the true meaning of Christmas. Why do you think this theme resonates with viewers?...

For years, One Tree Hill fans watched Tyler Hilton play musician Chris Keller. In his new Christmas movie for CBS, now he’s the one managing artists. In When Christmas Was Young, premiering Sunday, December 18, Hilton’s Luke is in need of a hit for his only remaining client, only to fall for the gifted singer-songwriter (Karen David) from whom he needs to secure the rights to a Christmas song. Hilton discusses why he had fun with this film, compares Luke to Chris Keller, and shares whether you’ll hear him sing (as he has in previous Christmas movies). What drew you to this character and movie? Tyler Hilton: I love these kind of characters. There is something about a totally sure of himself, cocky kind of dude getting put in his place and learning the lesson that knocks him down a peg that I love. I don’t know what it is about that.

“She hates when I sing,” Hilton tells Et Canada ahead of his CBS movie “When Christmas Was Young”, premiering Dec. 18. “When she was a baby, I sang all the time and she couldn’t tell me not to, but now she’s definitely not into it. Even if I hit a note on the piano while she’s playing with toys, she goes, ‘No, no, no!’ When I play music, I tune everyone out, so maybe she picks up on that...

Screen Rant is pleased to present an exclusive clip from CBS' upcoming holiday film When Christmas Was Young, which celebrates the winter season with some heartwarming romance. Starring musician Tyler Hilton and musical actress Karen David, the movie was executive produced by the award-winning singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow. To sweeten the pot, Crow also wrote original songs for the story which are featured in the film.
Such a collaboration makes perfect sense, seeing as When Christmas Was Young follows a stubborn but struggling music manager named Luke Dawson (played by Hilton) who is desperately seeking a hit song for the only client left on his roster. He finds the perfect one, from which the movie derives its name, in the hands of talented songwriter Melody Douglass. Though she long ago gave up hope of making it in the industry, meeting Luke may reignite her spark just as he begins to fall for her.

Aaron Carter’s twin sister, Angel, is remembering her brother on what would have been his 35th birthday. “I want to start by sharing how much I appreciate all the birthday wishes. While today is incredibly tough, I am overwhelmed by your love and support… thank you from the bottom of my heart,” she began her post which featured a picture of her and the “Aaron’s Party” singer as children.

From bursting into laughter while watching his Instagram Lives to sharing deep and meaningful chats or glancing over mid-performance to see him rocking out side of stage, Tyler Hilton is remembering and missing his late friend Aaron Carter.
The musician and “One Tree Hill” alum was friends with Carter, who passed away on Nov. 5, for two decades. And while he worried Carter’s recent struggles wouldn’t end well, hearing he had been found dead at his California home at age 34 was a shock.
“Every time I saw him, I hugged him like it might have been the last time,” Hilton tells Et Canada. “It wasn’t a surprise, but it was a gut punch. You think something like that’s going to happen, but you’re always hoping they’ll pull through.”

Elvis Presley is one of the most recognizable people of the 20th century, and Baz Luhrmann's Elvis features a star-making performance from Austin Butler as the doe-eyed idol, but there have been many portrayals of the King of Rock 'n' Roll in the decades since his death, all with something to contribute to his story.
Whether he is the focus of the movie, as in Kurt Russell's made-for-television biopic in 1979, or a small part in the broader story of someone else's career, as with Tyler Hilton's performance in the Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line, the best actors to step into his blue suede shoes attempt to reveal the man behind the myth, rather than impersonate him.

A federal lawsuit alleges that NBCUniversal, the National Football League, and recording artist Carrie Underwood are among those who plagiarized a YouTube song to create the Sunday Night Football opening theme song “Game On” that precedes the athletic action. Snf is typically one of the primetime ratings leaders during its season and a bright spot for the televised NFL games.
The lawsuit was filed in the Us District Court for the Southern District of New York by songwriters Heidi Merrill, Alex Wong, Jeff Cohen and Niclas Lundin, who claim they created a slightly different version of the Sunday Night Football theme song performed by Underwood. Read the complaint here.
The lawsuit also names various Underwood-affiliated music publishers and her recording company, as well as songwriters Chris DeStefano, Brett James and Underwood producer Mark Bright.

"I want to see the future..." "What's in the future...?" Another compelling short film to watch, with a bit of a sci-fi twist. Instant is a short film directed by Alex Albrecht, produced by Roddenberry Entertainment, lead by Eugene "Rod" Roddenberry, who is the son of legendary Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry and Majel Barrett. After a desperate criminal takes a bar hostage, six people must face their demons - past and present - in order to survive. But one of them is keeping a big secret that could change everything in an instant. The film stars Tyler Hilton, Manu Intiraymi, Phil Morris, Emily Chang, Tony Janning, and Tara Perry. This short has a few strong performances, working with an intriguing script that explores some engaging ideas. I wish this was a bit shorter, might be more effective, but it's still a good short. Enjoy. Thanks to SyFy Wire for the tip on this.
