Jeremy Sumrall writes and directs this slasher flick that will see release through Wild Eye Releasing. Set in the 1980’s, a trend in horror (and other genres) that I enjoy, regardless of how overdone it’s perhaps becoming, this is a ritualistic serial-killery (is that a word?) and sexually frantic film about a resurrected murderer named Alex Black.
There is, indeed, a lot of sex here. I mean, it’s part and parcel of the slasher sub-genre, right? Teenagers doing the horizontal mambo while a maniac is on the loose? It happens a lot here, perhaps to the point of annoyance, and perhaps even to the point where most slasher fans might even say…...

Lucha Underground
Last night (July 29, 2015) Lucha Underground kicked off the first of two episodes of Ultima Lucha. This was just a taste of what was to come next week in their special 2-hour season finale. To catch up on all the matches check out my Ultima Lucha preview article. This week we were treated to three matches that were all entertaining in their own special way. First off, it was The Mack taking on “The Man They Call” Cage in a “Falls Count Anywhere” match. To get an idea of how crazy this match went, they never actually entered the ring to wrestle.
Next up was the Trios championship match that pitted the Disciples of Death (with Catrina) against Son of Havoc, Ivelisse, and Angelico. A chaotic bout that included a spot that quite possibly topped Angelico’s previous leaps.
In the main event, it was Drago vs. Hernandez in...

Lucha Underground
This coming Wednesday (July 29, 2015) will be the beginning of the end for Lucha Underground’s first season.
Last week, Dario Cueto — and his unquenchable thirst for violence — announced that instead of one show, Ultimate Lucha would now become two. With plenty of awesome matches on the horizon it’s time to break each one down.
If you’re a longtime fan, this should be a great refresher. If you’re new to the product, it’s never to late to join in on the fun. Need more convincing? Here’s 15 reasons why Lucha Underground is awesome, and 20 of their finest matches in the first season.
On Wednesday, things kick off with The Mack going against “The Man They Call” Cage in a “Falls Count Anywhere” match. Also this week we get to see Drago vs. Hernandez in a “Believer’s Backlash” match, which is going to allow the fans to join the action.

Tna Wrestling has dealt with all sorts of problems this year and now they have more to deal with because Lucha Underground has forced them to remove Hernandez from their roster, effective immediately. As a result, Tna has to heavily edit several weeks of shows that Hernandez appeared on because if they don’t, Lucha Underground will take legal action against them.
According to a report from PWInsider, Hernandez was not legally able to appear at Tna’s last tapings in June, even though he told them that he was free. He recently returned to Tna programming as part of the Beat Down Clan stable with Mvp and Kenny King, but now all of those segments have to be removed from the show.
Since Tna could have been sued, they tried to work out an agreement with Lucha Underground to air the scenes that he was in and...

We’re less than 3 weeks away from Tna’s biggest event of the year. And for those living under a rock, but still with enough internet access to read this article, Tna have made this years event even bigger than ever before by holding it in Tokyo. This is their first ever major Pay Per View to be held outside of North America (One Night Only doesn’t count) and the fact that they are working together with The Great Mutas Wrestle-1 promotion, means this is set to be Tna’s most intriguing event in years.
Now Tna has come under a lot of fire from fans and critics alike over the years. It’s no secret that there have been many, many stumbles over their 12 year journey but there’s really no need to get into what most of us are already too familiar with.

Tna
Shawn Hernandez has reportedly parted ways with Tna adding to the ever increasing list of departures from the company.
Hernandez has not been featured on Tna programming much this year but is a former 7 time tag team champion and was once a member of the ground breaking Lax tag team that looked to take the world by storm before the company inexplicably broke them up. Although he was often overshadowed by his former partner Homicide, Super Mex as he is sometimes known became a standout talent of his own showing amazing agility for such a big man.
Where Hernandez will end up now his contract has expired is anybody’s guess though his size would surely make him a possibility for WWE if his age doesn’t go against him. If Vince and Triple H aren’t interested he will more than likely find his way into the fold...

Acclaimed comic book writer Steve Niles – best known as the creator of vampire epic 30 Days of Night and now the acclaimed “Cal McDonald” occult detective series – has often shared free downloads of his comics and short stories with fans. This year is no exception, and Niles is offering a pretty impressive gift this Halloween: his 2004 graphic novel Wake the Dead is available in its entirety as a free download via Niles' official site. Wake the Dead is Niles' own grisly spin on Frankenstein, featuring artwork by Chee (Cthulhu Tales). A film adaptation of the comic has been buzzed about for several years, and it's been one of several options on the table for Slasher Films – the production outfit created by guitar legend Slash (who recently released their debut feature Nothing Left to Fear.) In related but much less pleasant news, we recently learned that Niles' home in Austin, Texas was...

The good folks behind the upcoming slasher flick Slash just sent over some artwork to let us know that filming is ready to kick off on the soon-to-be blood-spattered project. Check it out!
Written, produced, and directed by Rycke Foreman, Slash stars Tna star Shawn Hernandez and Maria Olsen (who also serves as producer; The Lords of Salem, Paranormal Activity 3, "American Horror Story"). Lora Carlson and Myss Miranda Foreman are producers on the project. Production begins late June in New Mexico.
Synopsis
Cade just wants a "normal" life--to find a girlfriend, get through college, and pursue a career in theater--but his tempestuous step-brother Trench has darker ideas. Trench drags Cade though increasingly violent fantasies as a series of real-world murders occur, and the cast members of the theater group start dropping like flies. Cade's inability to stand up to Trench culminates in a killer, drug-fueled party, where Cade must face his demons.
