Shane Wood, also known as Shane Daniel Wood, was born in Logan, Utah. Shane attended Dixie State College in St. George, Utah, where he did his first stage performance. In the following years, Shane moved to Las Vegas where he worked as a bodyguard. There he body-guarded several different celebrities, such as Clint Eastwood, Sylvester Stallone, Evander Holyfield, Nicolas Cage, and many others. Then, Shane signed with the Baskow Agency where he modeled for companies, like Bugle Boy and Levi, before getting his first break playing a cop in the Patrick Swayze film, "Fatherhood". During the filming of the movie, Shane was also called on to double Mr. Swayze. Shane then spent two years at AFI, starring in seven films in just one year. Following these events, he met Matt Sigloch, who was a U.S. Marine and Military Advisor in Hollywood. For the next two years, Shane was the red-headed stepchild to the Gun Metal Group, a band of U.S. Marine Live Fire Stuntmen, in Hollywood, where he worked on an array of films and series such as NCIS, ER, The Unit, Deja Vu, and Spider-Man 3. While working on Spider-Man 3, Shane was offered a one line role on a film titled "The Bank Job". The day of the shoot, Shane was bumped up to three pages of dialogue instead. Ecstatic with the performance, the director went on to write a feature film for Shane, originally titled "The Shooter". During filming, Shane broke his ankle. However this did not stop him. He continued to film and act for two weeks prior to seeing a doctor to learn it was broken. With Micheal Madsen as his co-star, "Hired Gun" became the #1 action film in Japan in 2010. After having two daughters however, Shane opted to leave Hollywood to raise his kids, moving back to St. George. After the 2008 market crash, Shane was asked to help the local economy of St. George by doing the big five tourism commercials. The first doubled tourism in just six months, whereas the other four catapulted the tourism of Zion National Park exponentially. Shane works as a Top Rated Realtor in the Greater Zion Area according to Zillow. Shane is slated to lend his voice to an epic sci-fi saga titled "The Magnificent Raiders" in 2025
