Melisa McGregor is a Canadian born violinist, composer, and producer. She has written music for Labyrinth Theater Co. in New York City and has worked with Danny Elfman for the last 7 years, assisting him on many film scores from Alice and Wonderland to Fifty Shades Darker. She is producer of The Library Concert Series which benefits Music Education and Charities.
Melisa's film "Gajeta" (2008), and "Fast Forward" (2004) which she wrote, directed and composed music were both awarded best use of music at Independent Film Festivals.
Melisa is a Sundance Compser Lab Fellow (2016), and was selected to participate in the BMI Conducting Workshop (2016) and has a BFA from Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada.
