Lenny Hirsh
- Actor
- Additional Crew
Lenny's television debut came about through his love of Country Music.
In September of 2003, he sang (live for 30 million viewers) a cover of
Garth Brooks' hit song "The Thunder Rolls" on the FOX show "Performing
As." As a member of the SAG and AFTRA, Lenny has since appeared in
episodes of "CSI: Miami" and "Wanted." He also had a recurring role on
"Watch Over Me"(a My Network TV series), and he filmed a supporting
role in "The Good Humor Man" (a Showtime movie featuring Kelsey
Grammer, Jason Segal and Jorge Garcia). Perhaps most notably, he has
starred in national commercials for the Bud Light, Miller Lite, Taco
Bell, the Toyota Tacoma, Wrigley's, Verizon, Amica Insurance, Cellular
South, and the Ford Edge. The two Ford Edge commercials (called "Faster
than a BMW" and "Quieter than a Lexus") were directed by legendary
writer and director David Mamet and were filmed by Stephen Spielberg's
go-to cinematographer, Janusz Kaminski. Lenny also appeared in the
award-winning Super Bowl commercial, Bud Light "Lighthouse," in
February of 2010, in which he pulled a beer from the wall in a house
made of beers and shouted "Look a Window!"
