Cynthia Granville is an award-winning actress and director born in Brooklyn, raised in Tennessee, now living in New Jersey but always a New York City girl at heart.
When not in front of an audience or on a set, she is proud to be training healthcare professionals by teaching physical exam techniques, helping medical students build communication skills through her work as a standardized patient, and working with sexual assault nurse examiner trainees to practice everything from evidence collection and chain of custody to supportive communication, flipping the traditional narrative that the emergency room exam of a survivor is a second assault to making it the beginning of the healing process.
Ms. Granville studies with Austin Pendleton at HB Studio. She can be seen in High Maintenance on HBO Max, on The Onion, doing modo yoga or playing with Suzanne and Dahlia, her tuxedo cat and dog.
