Jordan has minor cerebral palsy and severe scoliosis. He had undergone 7 major surgeries by the time he was a teenager.

Jordan's grandfather is actor Barry Corbin.

Jordan was in the running to play Walter Jr. on the hit TV show Breaking Bad.

In 2008, less than 2 weeks after his 18th birthday, Jordan caught pneumonia, triggering his asthma, causing a medically-induced coma that lasted for 2 weeks. He spent another month in the hospital in recovery and lost over 30 pounds.

When Jordan was 8 years old, he was named the National Human Association's "Be Kind to Animal Kid" and was their Spokesperson for the entirety of 1998. Jordan was chosen because of his love for animals as a child. Growing up on a farm, Jordan took care of his many animals and rescued several from the nearby woods.
