Gyeongseong Creature is one of many successful Netflix K-drama webseries, and while the first season received mixed reviews, the show was renewed for season 2.

Gyeongseong Creature season 1 takes place in 1945 in the final days of World War II. It combines real historical elements with science fiction aspects in a horror story set in Gyeongseong. The first season of the K-drama starring Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee sees Tae-sang and Chae-ok teaming up to investigate the Ongseong Hospital, which a lot of patients dont return. One popular Gyeongseong Creature season 2 theory that tries to explain why the series is now set in 2024 would make Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee’s reunion on the show very awkward. Gyeongseong Creature season 1 ended on a massive cliffhanger, with a character known as Ho-jae appearing in modern-day Seoul after most of the show took place in 1945 Gyeongseong. Netflix has its A-game on when it comes to Korean dramas, as it releases a new fantastic show, or at least, an addicting one, on a weekly basis. Recently, we’ve had some gems like Doona, Castaway Diva, and A Time Called You that have been loved by audiences and critics alike. Now, it’s finally time for the highly anticipated Song Kang and Kim You-Jung-starring K-drama My Demon to have us on our knees begging for mercy. Alright, this is a very unserious statement, but everyone’s just so excited to be taken in by this girlboss-demon combination that we can’t help but imagine it’s going to be a super hit even if it manages to bring nothing new to the table. People are already screaming about the “face cards” these two very attractive actors are bringing to the show, which is reason enough to give it a go.

A new trailer and Ireland and UK release date have been released for Park Chan Wook's 'The Handmaiden.'   Directed by Park Chan Wook it stars Kim Min-hee, Hideko Kim Tae-ri, Ha Jung-woo, Cho Jin-woong, Kim Hae-sook, and Moon So-ri.

A ravishing new crime drama inspired by the novel 'Fingersmith' by British author Sarah Waters. Having transposed the story to 1930s-era colonial Korea and Japan, Park presents a gripping and sensual tale of a young Japanese Lady living on a secluded estate, and a Korean woman who is hired to serve as her new handmaiden, but who is secretly involved in a conman's plot to defraud her of her large inheritance.

The film will be released in cinemas for Ireland and the UK on 14 April.
