The name Knox is Pictish for 'Sacred Hill', and is derived from the word Cernunnos - the ancient stag god of the pre-celts of Scotland.

Trained by Romanian filmaker Yossi Ballanescu.

Jonny has written a number of full-length screenplays, and is allied with Kiwi creative Jessica James. Jonny is currently directing music videos, live music events and documentaries. He also acts as a senior marketing and business development consultant within satellite broadcast media.

Attended University at Guildhall in London, where he studied Business Communications and Audio-Visual Production (BA Hons).

Son-in-law of James Bartle.
