Zovatto can most recently be seen starring opposite Anna Kendrick in her directorial debut, Woman of ther Hour, for Netflix. He was also recently seen in The Pope’s Exorcist opposite Russell Crowe from director Julius Avery.

Zovatto can be seen as “The Prophet” in the HBO Max series Station Eleven, directed by Hiro Murai. He is currently filming Bear Country from director Derrick Borte opposite Russell Crowe and Aaron Paul. Exclusive: Billy Eichner has joined the cast of an untitled comedy from writer and director, Nicholas Stoller, for Amazon MGM Studios, alongside previously announced stars Will Ferrell, Zac Efron, Regina Hall, and Jimmy Tatro. Stoller will direct.

The comedy follows a young convict fresh out of prison (Efron) who takes a reality TV courtroom hostage blaming the megalomaniac TV judge (Ferrell) for a past ruling that the convict feels ruined his life. Eichner will play Bailiff to Ferrell’s judge.

Producers include Stoller Global Solutions’ Nicholas Stoller and Gloria Sanchez Productions’ Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Alex Brown.

Eichner just wrapped a two episode arc on the Ryan Murphy show The Beauty starring Evan Peters. He is also can be seen next in Ethan Coen’s next film Honey, Don’t! He was also in the recent Coen pic Drive Away Dolls and also reprised his role as Timon in Mufasa: The Lion King.

The Studio has revealed its full guest cast for the Hollywood sendup series co-created by Seth Rogen.

Rogen — also the lead actor, writer, director and executive producer on the Apple series about moviemaking — has taken to his director’s chair to announce the many guest stars in the comedy, which had promised A-list cameos in every episode. In The Studio, Rogen stars as Matt Remick, a newly appointed (fictional) head of the embattled Continental Studios who finds himself forever fighting and debating with his fellow creatives and demanding actors over whether art and commerce can coexist in Hollywood.

Phoebe Dynevor is in negotiations to star opposite Jake Gyllenhaal in M. Night Shyamalan’s upcoming film, a supernatural romantic thriller based on an original story co-created by Shyamalan and global bestselling novelist Nicholas Sparks. Shyamalan and Sparks are independently writing a screenplay and a novel, respectively, based on the same original story.

Both projects will be based on the same concept and set of characters, but tailored to their respective mediums.

Shyamalan and Ashwin Rajan will produce through Blinding Edge Pictures, alongside Sparks’ longtime producing partner Theresa Park and Marc Bienstock. Sparks is executive producer. Netflix co-ceo Ted Sarandos is following in a storied American showbiz tradition of top TV executives making cameos on shows set by predecessors like Brandon Tartikoff. Surprisingly, the series that marks his acting debut is not on Netflix but on rival Apple TV+.

Sarandos is popping up in Seth Rogen’s upcoming showbiz-themed comedy The Studio, in which the Neighbors star plays Matt Remick, the new head of a Hollywood movie studio. We won’t spoil Sarandos’ interaction with Remick beyond teasing that it involves a chance encounter at the Golden Globes.

“After 25 years in Hollywood, secretly what I was really hoping for was to be discovered for the silver screen,” Sarandos told Deadline. “Of course it was my friend Seth Rogen who saw my ‘certain something’ and cast me. He has also promised an FYC campaign for my guest appearance — so it was an offer that I could not refuse.
