Former Scream Queens star Keke Palmer has accused showrunner Ryan Murphy of bullying.

“It was kind of like I was in the dean’s office,” Palmer, 31, said of the incident in her new book, Master of Me: The Secret to Controlling Your Narrative.

The actress commented on her interactions with Murphy, 59, after a mishap led her to miss work. Palmer was originally off on the day she missed work, but production later changed the schedule, and she had chosen to honor a prior commitment rather than change her plans for the new shoot date.

“He was like, ‘I’ve never seen you behave like this,” Palmer said. “I can’t believe that you, out of all people, would do something like this.”

Skyler Samuels is speaking out to praise her Scream Queens co-star Keke Palmer.

The comments were made after Keke claimed that series creator Ryan Murphy “ripped” into her for not being available on her day-off and that a white co-star made a racist remark to her.

According to the official synopsis, My Dreams of You tells the story of a woman who dreams about a man she has never met. Meanwhile, this is due to a clerical error in Dream Central. As time runs out, Grace McMahon (Skyler Samuels) tries to find him before any memories of each other are erased.

Hallmark’s latest Summer Nights movie My Dreams Of You is a magical romance starring Skyler Samuels and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist star Kapil Talwalker. “A woman dreams about a man she’s never met who was mistakenly inserted into her dreams by a clerical error in Dream Central. There was a significant degree of excitement in horror circles when it was announced that British director Ben Wheatley was going to be directing the sequel to 2018’s Jason Statham vs Giant Shark blockbuster The Meg. The hope was that Wheatley’s horror sensibilities and eye for jet-black humour would add a bit of bite to what was otherwise a passably entertaining, but ultimately uninspired Jaws retread. Unfortunately, those hopes have not come to pass, as there’s very little trace of the acclaimed British director’s signature touch in this largely derivative sequel.

Meg 2: The Trench, director Ben Wheatley’s sequel to Jon Turteltaub’s 2018 “Jason Statham vs. a giant shark” adventure The Meg (watch it at This Link), has racked up almost $400 million at the global box office since reaching theatres at the start of August. Now the film, which has been available on PVOD since the end of August, is ready to start streaming. Variety reports that Meg 2 will be available to watch on the Max streaming service as of next Friday, September 29th.

Variety notes that, “In order to stream the film, you’ll have to sign up for a Max account, with subscriptions starting at $9.99/Month. You can also access Max through Prime Video’s add-on, which offers a 7-day free trial.”

Less than two months after its release in theaters, “The Meg 2: The Trench” is diving into the streaming world. The big-budget sequel arrives on Max on Sept. 29.

The film, about a murderous 80-foot prehistoric shark, is directed by “Rebecca” helmer Ben Wheatley, who takes the reins from Jon Turteltaub. Turteltaub directed the first installment of the franchise, which took $530 million worldwide. One year before Steven Spielberg made us all afraid to go into the water, Peter Benchley’s 1974 novel Jaws took the literary world by storm. Nearly fifty years after publication it remains one of the most popular examples of shark fiction with few titles entering the waters of its elite circle. One such novel is Meg: A Novel of Deep Terror by Steve Alten.

Published in 1997, this sci-fi horror brings to life Otodus megalodon, a prehistoric relative of the great white shark estimated to stretch up to 65 feet in length. The novel pits retired rescue diver Jonas Taylor (Jason Statham in the movies) against this mammoth beast after it escapes from a warmer pocket of water near the Mariana Trench.

The latest installment of the Meg series, Meg 2: The Trench, has faced criticism for its lack of shark action and focus on human conflicts. In an interview with ScreenRant, Wheatley revealed how his love for classic monster movies, especially Jaws, shaped his creative vision. Despite being based on Steve Alten's novels, The Meg franchise drew inspiration from Spielberg's iconic shark thriller and, according to Wheatley, "a lifetime of watching monster movies." The summer box office season may have reached the dog days of August, but it’s hardly looked stronger over the past few months. Though the openings of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” and “Meg 2: The Trench” won’t be able to take down “Barbie” as the top performer in North America, both new releases are boosting theaters to a weekend with four different features grossing north of $25 million.

Paramount Pictures’ “Mutant Mayhem” added $9.3 million from 3,858 locations on Friday, tracking neck-and-neck with “Oppenheimer” for second place on domestic charts. The animated feature, produced by Nickelodeon Movies and Point Grey Productions, opened with Tuesday evening preview screenings and is now tracking for a $42 million five-day debut — squarely within the projections of $35 million to $45 million heading into the weekend.

That’s not shabby for the “Tmnt” entry, which cost only $70 million to produce — an especially economical figure for an animated studio release.
