Just in time for New York Comic Con, there's a DC-themed Diy series from Bluprint.
With New York Comic Con underway, we’ve featured some of the best cosplayers we can find inside the Javits Center. Not everyone is a cosplay pro, though. If you want to get into the world of cosplay but don’t know where to begin, Bluprint, NBCU’s lifestyle learning streaming service, is rolling out a Diy cosplay series in partnership with DC and Warner Bros.
The series is called Suit Up and helps fans honor DC’s iconic heroes with easy-to-make costumes that work for your next con or Halloween. Maybe you have actual superpowers and need a disguise, or you want to spice things up and roleplay as a heroic hottie. The possibilities are endless!
Suit Up is hosted by Marcy Harriell, a sewist, film, television and Broadway actress. In each episode,...

NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment is rebranding its Craftsy learning video network as “Bluprint,” a subscription VOD service expanding beyond crafting how-tos to multiple lifestyle categories.
NBCU acquired a majority stake in Craftsy in May 2017. Now the Craftsy Unlimited service is becoming Bluprint, with an expanded content lineup of 3,000-plus hours of instructional videos, priced starting at $15 per month. (Craftsy.com will still exist for a la carte classes.)
Bluprint — in addition to how-to videos in areas including music, writing, dance, yoga, fitness, home décor, entertaining, and kids and family — will produce original entertainment series. Talent to be featured on the rebranded streaming service include: Padma Lakshmi (Bravo’s “Top Chef”), Al Roker (“Today” show), Simon Doonan (Barneys New York creative ambassador), Stephen “tWitch” Boss (dancer-choreographer who is a regular on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”), body-positive yogi Jessamyn Stanley, and Broadway actress Marcy Harriell.

Lin-Manuel Miranda is well-versed in the phrase, having written the scores to In the Heights, Hamilton and Disney’s Oscar-nominated animated musical Moana — for which its “I Want” song, “How Far I’ll Go,” is nominated for Best Original Song.
