Jeff Banks was born on 17 March 1943 in Ebbw Vale, Gwent, Wales, UK. He is known for Telstar: The Joe Meek Story (2008), The Clothes Show (1986) and Calendar Girl (2020). He is married to Sue Mann. They have two children. He was previously married to Sandie Shaw.

He was awarded the CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2009 Queen&#39;s Birthday Honours List for his services to the Fashion Industry and to Charity.
