Clodd Dias

Born in the town of Itapetininga, Clodd Dias was encouraged by her paternal grandmother to recite verses and to sing ever since she was a child. At the age of 14 she joined the theater group Grupo Théspis and starred in her first play: Semiópera Introitus. At the age of 21, she left law school to go to São Paulo and join the Teatro Escola Célia Helena. She participated in several theater groups, among them Profana Trupe; Cia Antikatartika Teatral, Pessoal do Faroeste, Coletivo Negro e Teatro do Indivíduo, She also works in film, starring in the short film Lugar pra Ninguém directed by Fabiana Carlucci and has two more feature films to be released in 2021, one by René Guerra and the other by Marcelo Saback. She is a member of the feminist group Amigas do Samba.
