Apple TV+’s The Studio aims to give audiences a peek behind the Hollywood curtain. Funnily enough, it was reported years ago that Seth Rogen had pitched an idea at HBO that pre-dated Entourage, but would be very similar in navigating the glamour of showbiz and would also intend to show some inside baseball on the film industry in Hollywood. Rogen gets to do it in a different fashion with his new TV series and, just like Entourage, there are cameos aplenty by a large number of people playing a version of themselves.

The Studio has revealed its full guest cast for the Hollywood sendup series co-created by Seth Rogen.

Rogen — also the lead actor, writer, director and executive producer on the Apple series about moviemaking — has taken to his director’s chair to announce the many guest stars in the comedy, which had promised A-list cameos in every episode. In The Studio, Rogen stars as Matt Remick, a newly appointed (fictional) head of the embattled Continental Studios who finds himself forever fighting and debating with his fellow creatives and demanding actors over whether art and commerce can coexist in Hollywood.

“I kind of viewed it like I was putting a band together,” Rogen explains in the new teaser, which briefly introduces a handful of characters played by some of the starry names below.

A producer of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping has offered an update on the casting of young Haymitch Abernathy. Haymitch is the mentor to Hunger Games contestants Katniss and Peeta in both the original Suzanna Collins young adult novels and their movie adaptations, in which he was portrayed by three-time Oscar nominee Woody Harrelson. The upcoming Sunrise on the Reaping adapts Collins' newly published novel of the same name, which is a prequel following Haymitch's victory in the 50th annual Hunger Games.

The Studioco-creators, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, premiered their Apple TV+ series at the 2025 SXSW Film & TV Festival on Mar. 7, where they also appeared onstage to discuss the project as part of a Q&a after the screening. The duo were joined by several members of the star-studded cast, having worked with an impressive roster of talent on the satirical comedy. Renowned filmmaker Martin Scorsese wasn't in attendance despite having a cameo on the show, but Rogen did share some insight into what it was like to work with him.

According to Variety, Rogen revealed the rather surprising and certainly amusing note Scorsese gave him and Goldberg, and it's the last thing you would expect. The director, who is prone to profanity in his movies, told the pair that he feels their swearing is excessive. Reacher star Alan Ritchson has revealed that he doesn't think his Hunger Games character's death looked very realistic. Ritchson portrayed the villainous Gloss in Catching Fire.

In an interview with Wired, Ritchson answered some of the web's most searched questions about himself, which included talking about his Hunger Games: Catching Fire character. "I was the guy that slit that little old lady's throat," Ritchson said when asked about Gloss, going on to explain his character originally had a different ending. "Actually, I took an arrow to the face. So, I played it like it was to the face. And then, I think they decided in post that was a little too gruesome to take an arrow to the face by Katniss, so they changed it to my chest."

While audiences may have seen Gloss taking an arrow to the chest, Ritchson insisted that wasn't the way he acted out the scene when filming.

And what's more, per Deadline's reporting, Indonesian action filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto is making a beeline for the director's hotseat and will be the man calling the shots on the upcoming sequel.

We know vanishingly little about what The Beekeeper 2, penned by the first movie's scribe Kurt Wimmer, will entail at this point, but we do know that cameras are due to start rolling on the sequel — which is sure to have a, er, sting in its tale — before the year is through. Jason Statham is returning to the hive for a sequel to action thriller The Beekeeper.

The project is the follow-up to the 2024 film about a retired intelligence operative who worked for an organization known as the Beekeepers. After the death of his beloved landlady due to a phishing scam, he begins a tour of vengeance.

Miramax will produce and finance the film with production set to begin in the Fall. Timo Tjahjanto, who is behind upcoming action movie Nobody 2, is taking over directing duties from David Ayer. Screenwriter Kurt Wimmer is back for the follow-up.

Statham will produce through his Punch Palace Productions shingle, along with Chris Long via his Long Shot Productions.

The Beekeeper grossed an impressive $153 million at the global box office and received generally positive reviews. Emmy Raver-Lampman, Minnie Driver, Josh Hutcherson, and Jeremy Irons also starred in the film.

The Beekeeper 2 with Jason Statham is in the works at Miramax. Unfortunately, one member of the original movie's creative team will not be returning (at least in the same role) for the action sequel.

According to Deadline, David Ayer will not be returning as director for The Beekeeper 2, with Nobody 2 helmer Timo Tjahjanto tapped as his replacement. Ayer is currently busy filming the Brad Pitt-led movie The Heart of the Beast for Paramount. However, Miramax is hoping that Ayer will join the sequel in a producing capacity. Kurt Wimmer returned to write the screenplay for The Beekeeper 2, which is slated to begin production this fall. Amazon MGM Studios is expected to secure the sequel's domestic rights. The company previously handled distribution on the 2024 original.

Wielding a glass of liquor and a bad attitude, the former winner of the sinister Hunger Games, who hails from District 12, more or less tells the two tributes he's meant to mentor — Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, portrayed in the movies by Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson — that they're probably not going to make it through the Games, in which 24 kids from the 12 districts of the dystopian Panem are forced to compete to the death. When he tells Peeta and Katniss his only advice is to "stay alive," they physically attack him, at which point Haymitch sobers up (a little bit) and actually helps the pair, becoming a mentor to the best of his ability.

Per Collider, Lawrence explained the difficulties in putting together an outline for the next The Hunger Games film thanks to the fact that the feature film franchise has caught up to author Suzanne Collins' original novels. "I will say it's, like, it's tricky because, you know, the book's not out, so only people know generally what it's about," Lawrence said. "I think there was an excerpt that was put out, and Suzanne maybe has a quote out there about what the thematics are. So we're, like, we're researching a little, but yeah, like, we can't put, you know, scenes out or anything like that, yet."

Exclusive: Ken Burns’ latest American history series is headed for the London TV Screenings.

PBS Distribution has taken global distribution rights and is bringing The American Revolution to the event, which is held in the UK capital at the end of the month.

Veteran filmmaker Burns directed and produced the epic factual series about the formation of the U.S. along with Sarah Botstein and David Schmidt and written by long-term collaborator Geoffrey C. Ward (The Vietnam War).

Show is billed as “an expansive look at the virtues and contradictions of the war and the birth of the United States of America,” following “dozens of figures from a wide variety of backgrounds,” including rank-and-file Continental soldiers and American militiamen, Patriot political and military leaders, British Army officers, American Loyalists, Native soldiers and civilians, enslaved and free African Americans, German soldiers in the British service, French and Spanish allies, and civilians living in North America.

Before the Jumanji franchise was revived with more modern sequels starring Dwayne Johnson, a loose sci-fi spinoff film was released in 2005. Two decades later, one of its stars is looking back on the movie and its "stacked" cast.

Per Cinema Blend, Zathura: A Space Adventure was addressed by Twilight and Underwater star Kristen Stewart, who took on one of her earliest roles by playing the Lisa character. The film also stars Josh Hutcherson, who'd go on to find big success in other franchises like The Hunger Games and Five Nights at Freddy's. The premise of Duhpocalypse is that there's a zombie outbreak, only this one spreads through explosive diarrhea – as depicted in a majorly graphic moment (see below). Seth Rogen, the head of the fictional Continental Studios, wants a graphic diarrhea explosion kept in one of his movies in a new trailer for Apple TV+’s The Studio comedy.

The trailer, which dropped on Friday, sees Rogen as Matt Remick, the newly appointed head of the fictional movie studio at the center of the Apple series, and his team of fellow creatives as they battle over whether to keep a graphic scene where a zombie infects a character, played by Josh Hutcherson, with his deadly flatulence in their teaser trailer titled Duhpocalypse.

Duhpocalypse is the studio’s movie-within-the-series, a new zombie comedy thriller starring Hutcherson and Johnny Knoxville (coming to theaters this summer).

Discounting the Fast and the Furious franchise, I really enjoy Jason Statham’s films. He has an incredible talent for playing the most ridiculous situations straight, with his deadpan, growling voice. The mix of him being serious plus utterly silly situations makes for extremely fun films (albeit The Meg was a disappointment).

He is also brilliant at the physical aspect of the films. I am sure he has stuntmen, but along with Keanu Reeves, he is one of my favourite action stars working today. He has cornered a market, that other actors might turn their nose up at, or most likely you would get the impression they were “in on the joke”. Production on the highly anticipated Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is currently underway, and it looks like we might have our first look at the sequel with these new leaked set photos. Five Nights at Freddy's 2 will be released in theaters on Dec. 5, 2025, by Universal Pictures. Make sure to save this date!

Two of the images are of the run-down, infamous Freddy Fazbear pizzeria. However, there's something different about the pizzeria's sign in the photos. The video game adaptation Five Nights at Freddy’s (read our review Here) quickly became Blumhouse Productions’ highest-grossing movie when it reached theatres and the Peacock streaming service back in October, surpassing the likes of Split, The Invisible Man, The Black Phone, M3GAN, the recent Halloween sequel trilogy, and the Paranormal Activity, Insidious, and The Purge franchises with its haul of $295 million. So, of course, there’s a sequel coming our way, aiming for a December 5, 2025 theatrical release – and fans have managed to take pictures of some of the filming locations in Louisiana!

Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 will be the second installment in the Five Nights at Freddy’s film franchise, and the rich history of the games provides more than enough material for Blumhouse to move forward with a sequel. The 2023 movie Five Nights at Freddy’s is the live-action adaptation of the popular video game series from developer Scott Cawthorn. Both the games and movie focus on Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, and the haunted, violent animatronic mascots that dwell within.

Riffing on the animatronic animals seen in restaurants like Chuck E. Cheese, the Five Nights at Freddy’s formula proved incredibly easy to adapt for movie audiences, helped by a cast that includes Matthew Lillard (Scream) and Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games). While the ending of the first movie didn’t explicitly set up a sequel, the premise alone feels more than enough to carry on into Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 and beyond.

Despite being pushed to a December 2025 release, things appear to be slowly picking up for Blumhouse’s Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. Spotted by Eurogamer, several fan accounts on X have snapped images of the sign for the infamous pizzeria, as well as merchandise stands for a scene in the film.

The X account Fnaf Movie Updates recently posted images of the pizzeria, which appears to be a little worse for wear, given the brush that’s surrounding the building.

Things get even more interesting from another account, this time from katfanf, taken from Reddit. Not only do these photos show merchandise stands for what appears to be a scene from the film, but another post from the same account also shows decorations for a “Fazfest” scene.
