Actress Achint Kaur recalls how, back in the 90s when she started out as an actress, people would discourage youngsters from joining the glamour industry. "When I entered the entertainment industry, I was already married and had a kid who was two. Since I was offered a role, and I never tried to get into the business of entertainment, things were not planned. Mumbai, March 18 (Ians) Actor Rajat Barmecha returns as the protagonist in the upcoming second season of the web series "Hey Prabhu". He says adulting is a tough process but it helps youngsters build their personality.

Rajat, who shot to fame playing the lead role in Vikramaditya Motwane's 2010 film "Udaan", plays the titular Tarun Prabhu in "Hey Prabhu". Tarun makes mistakes but his friends and parents understand him.

Mumbai, Feb 23: Actor Ravi Dubey says it is extremely disruptive and amazing that the digital space is bringing television shows on board with spin-offs. 

Ravi's show "Jamai Raja" has a digital spin-off "Jamai 2.0" on streaming portal ZEE5.

Talking about TV shows on Ott, Ravi said, "I think this initiative is extremely disruptive... It's brilliant that they could marry this audience of Ott and the pre-existing audience of television by just taking the Jamai brand and making it bigger and better." 

"It's truly amazing what they've done and I'm really happy that we went down this road," he added.

He said that the love and respect that "Jamai Raja" has and it has only intensified with "Jamai 2.0" franchise. 

"I am keeping my fingers crossed and I seriously believe and hope and pray that the audience will only shower more and more blessings for the second season," he said.

Mumbai, Feb 17 (Ians) Actress Achint Kaur has opened up on her preparation for a negative character in the second season of the web-show Jamai 2.0.

"Normally, what happens is when characters are grey I have to make them very real so the audience perceives my side of the story, of how I am handling a situation as a human being. So, yes, we try to make the character as real and convincing as possible and, more than anything, I think the bottomline is the belief in the character itself and the conviction I have," she said.

Season two of Jamai 2.0 brings back Ravi Dubey, Nia Sharma and Achint in roles they played in the first season. The show also features Sudhanshu Pandey, Vin Rana and Priya Banerjee.

Directed by Aarambhh M Singh, Jamai 2.0 season two premieres on February 26, on Zee5.

Back in 2011, we saw the release of the Vikram Bhatt directed horror flick Haunted 3D. Now years on, we hear that the filmmaker will commence work on the sequel to the film. In fact we hear that Bhatt, who is currently working on his next venture Raaz Reboot, will start work on the Haunted sequel once done with the project on hand. Further we also hear that while Haunted 3D that featured Mahaakshay Chakraborty, Twinkle Bajpai, Achint Kaur and Arif Zakaria, was set in a hill station, the sequel to the film titled Haunted in the City will be set in the city suburbs.

Ace tennis star Leander Paes who is making his debut with Ashok Kohli's Rajdhani Express, will be playing the role of a terrorist in the film. The film is about a journey of the Rajdhani Express train from Delhi to Mumbai with Paes being the terrorist on board. The film also stars Jimmy Shergill as a cop and Priyanshu Chatterjee, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sayali Bhagat, Kiran Kumar, Gulshan Grover, Achint Kaur and Mukesh Rishi as co-passengers.

Reliance Home Video launched Vikram Bhatt’s 3D directorial venture ’Haunted‘ on home video today. The launch took place at an exclusive retail event at Planet M, Andheri.

Besides the Director Vikram Bhatt, Haunted’s lead pair Mahakshay Chakraborty and Tia Bajpai were present to formally release the DVD of the film.

It was party time for the cast and crew of the horror film Haunted 3D.  Director Vikram Bhatt played host to a string of celebrities at the swanky venue Novotel in Juhu, Mumbai.
