Child actors Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli met on the set of the 2003 film, fell in love and have now become husband and wife. This year only goes downhill from here
The world is a dark and dismal place at the moment. Every day we’re greeted by fresh horrors from every quarter. Political cravenness. Environmental collapse. Sign after sign that we as a species have permanently blown the only chance we were ever given, and now we’re on a downward spiral to the end. Never before have we so needed something – anything – to lift our spirits and remind us that, despite it all, there might still be some good in the world.
So thank God for the two kids from School of Rock who just got married.

2003’s School of Rock compiled a great group of child actors as they not only were able to go toe-to-toe with Jack Black in their comedic performances, but they also really came together as a band for the film. The bond that the cast made was evident as the audience could also feel their synergy. However, for two particular castmates, their bond would blossom into true love. Two of the movie’s child stars, Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli, would recently step on stage again, this time in holy matrimony.
Hale played Marta in School of Rock, who was one of the backup singers, while Massagli played Frankie, who became more of a crew member for the band. The two grew up to tie the knot and Entertainment Weekly reports on another cast member — Rivkah Reyes, who portrayed the bassist Katie — documenting parts of the wedding on a TikTok video.

While the world is mostly full of nightmares, and looking at any website or social media app that contains the news these days feels a little like cracking open the Ark of the Covenant, there is at least one good thing happening on the planet: two of the former child stars from Richard Linklater’s School of Rock just got married.
The 2003 comedy, of course, tells the story of Dewey Finn (played by Jack Black) an out of work rocker who lies his way into a substitute teacher job at an elite private school, and convinces the kids to secretly form a band with him.
Apart from the fact that Black’s character probably should have been thrown in jail and Sarah Silverman’s supposedly villainous character was 100 percent in the right, School of Rock is a delightful film that mostly holds up today. If you watch those kids playing...

Chimes! But this time, they are not from the song "Legend of The Rent." They are the chimes of wedding bells as two of the castmates of director Richard Linklater and writer Mike White's beloved comedy School Of Rock got married recently. Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli, who played students of Horace Green Prep, wed in a ceremony at a hotel in New Jersey. Seeing the now-grown private school rockers marry is both heartwarming and bone-chilling as a stunning reminder of Father Time's unhindered march.
While the young newbie actors shine in School of Rock, the film is still one of Jack Black's finest performances to this day. Black plays Dewey Finn, a jilted band member who, after being kicked out of his group, poses as his roommate (Mike White) who substitute teaches at a local grade school. Using his charm and talent, he transforms his uptight...

The "School of Rock" nostalgia continued over the holidays as a bunch of kids who acted in the movie got together for a 15-year reunion ... but this meetup was missing 1 key person. Becca Brown -- who played Katie, the bassist in the 2003 flick -- tells TMZ ... a bunch of the cast members stay in touch through a group text and a good chunk of them happened to find themselves in NYC over New Year's Eve weekend.
