With the high desert sun fading behind the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, My Morning Jacket launched into “I’m Amazed” during their set at the Park City Song Summit.

“I’m amazed at what the people sayin’,” the Jacket’s Jim James sang. “I’m amazed by a divided nation.”

In a time when America finds itself at another existential crossroads, James’ lyric summed up what many at the Pcss had been thinking, both about the country and about themselves: Where to from here?

Fry, Leela and Bender are back. Hulu has unveiled the trailer for Season 12 of the revival of “Futurama,” set to premiere July 29 on the streamer.

The crew embarks on different adventures in the new season, including birthday party games to the death, A.I. friends and enemies, the next chapter in Fry and Leela’s romance and more.

John Dimaggio, BIlly West, Katey Sagal, Tress MacNeille, Maurice Lamarche, Lauren Tom, Phil Lamar and David Herman all return to the animated sci-fi series. Park City Song Summit is back for a third year. Newport Jazz Festival has unveiled their 2024 lineup, featuring André 3000, Nile Rogers & Chic, Kamasi Washington, Elvis Costello, Brittany Howard, Robert Glasper, and more. 2024 marks the 70th anniversary of Newport Jazz Festival, and the three-day event goes down on August 2nd-4th at Fort Adams State Park in Rhode Island.

Specially priced 3-day passes to Newport Jazz Fest are available starting Tuesday, April 9th at 1:00 p.m. Est via Dice, where they’ll be priced at $265.74 (including all fees) for 24 hours. Bourbon & Beyond is going above and beyond for its sixth annual installment. The Kentucky music festival will return to Louisville later this year with headlining performances from Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, Neil Young, and Dave Matthews Band. Beck, Maren Morris, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Cody Jinks, and My Morning Jacket are also on the bill. The 2024 lineup features 100 artists performing across five stages for four days from Sept. 19 through 22.

Bourbon & Beyond has added two additional stages at Highland Festival Grounds at Kentucky Exposition Center, allowing for 40 more musicians to join the lineup.

Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit’s annual residency at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium will return this October. For the third year in a row the singer-songwriter, who just released the new album Weathervanes, will play eight nights at the legendary venue, with each show featuring a unique artist in the opening slot.

The PBS live performance series “Austin City Limits” has announced the lineup for its 48th new season. The first of seven installments will begin airing on Oct. 1 at 8 p.m. Ct/9 p.m. Et with an appearance from Brandi Carlile.

As the season opener, Carlile makes her third appearance on the “Acl” stage where she will perform a variety of songs going back into her 17-year recording career alongside selections from her latest album, last year’s “In These Silent Days,” backed by a nine-piece band.

In addition to Carlile, “Acl” will spotlight a number of highly-anticipated debut appearances in new hour-long episodes that will drop weekly.
