The Dragon Prince is back!

The Netflix TV series is set to debut Season 7 on the streamer today.

Here’s the official logline: “Aaravos is out in a big way! It’s not too late to catch up on The Dragon Prince before the season 7 culmination and climax of the great fantasy saga. As Aaravos and Claudia seek to destroy the cosmic order and invert life and death, our heroes must literally be ready to sacrifice anything and everything they love and believe in to save the world! This season will be more thrilling, magical, and heartbreaking than ever.”

The season consists of nine episodes, which will all be released simultaneously, exclusively on Netflix.

Blue Mountain State is a college sitcom that depicts American state college culture, including partying and college football. The show originally aired from 2010-2011 on Spike, gained a cult following on Netflix, and received a sequel movie in 2016. The talented cast includes actors like The Bold and the Beautiful star Darin Brooks, Reacher star Alan Ritchson, and Chris Romano, who also co-created the series with Eric Falconer.

Created by Chris Romano and Eric Falconer, Blue Mountain State is a college sitcom about the rowdy misadventures of the titular university's football team, the Mountain Goats. Though fictional, Blue Mountain State embodies the typical American state college by embracing the raunchiest parts of the culture, including binge drinking, drugs, sex, and, of course, the phenomenon that is college football.

Blue Mountain State ran for three seasons from 2010-2011 and originally aired on Spike, but gained a cult following once it started streaming on Netflix.

As announced during the bustling San Diego Comic-Con panel, the much-anticipated Season 5 dropped on July 22, a notable five days ahead of its initial release date set for July 27.

The Dragon Prince journeyed onto our screens back in 2018, captivating audiences with its spellbinding narrative centered on two royal siblings, Princes Ezran and Callum, voiced by Sasha Rojen and Jack De Sena respectively. The plot thickens when an elven infiltrator named Rayla (voiced by Paula Burrows) trespasses into the royal corridors. Yet, rather than foreshadowing conflict, her presence spurs an unforeseen camaraderie with the young princes. Bound together by a shared mission to safeguard a dragon prince's fragile egg, they embark on a quest to bridge peace between the enchanting realm of Xadia and the world of humankind.

Short film almost always equals low budget. Now, this is of course not a problem, but I point it out when talking about The Shipment because it either spends a low budget extremely well or it has a much bigger budget than any short I have watched before [this was actually made for $1million! - Editor Phil].

I say this because of how visually stunning The Shipment is. I was not expecting it to look this great. The spaceships look futuristic, vast and stylish, the characters (through practical effects and CGI I believe) look like something out of a new Star Wars movie and the world which it is all surrounded by looks nothing short of jaw-dropping! The Shipment really does need to be seen to believed. I could easily assume that the budget for the CGI effects alone took up the majority of this films budget.

Blue Mountain State: The Rise Of Thadland is a drug-fueled dystopian comedy that would make Rob Gronkowski blush – we’re coming out of the gate guns-blazing on this one! Everything that television audiences love about the hard-partying Mountain Goats makes a return in Lev L. Spiro’s spinoff film, as creators Eric Falconer and Romanski leave a trail of cocaine dust while they unleash epic, Thad-Castle-approved anarchy.

It’s perversely familiar and relentlessly immature (in a good way), which is everything Bms fans have come to expect. We’re gifted an epic, multi-day party that reunites all our favorite characters, but with the calculated exclusion of on-field football antics, something feels slightly amiss. Not enough to detract immensely, just a little more welcomed playmaking to balance…ah, who am I kidding. You’re watching for the sloots and booze, and that’s exactly what you’ll get!

Fans of Syfy's Continuum have been waiting to find out the fate of the series. The show hasn't been renewed yet -- but it hasn't been cancelled either.

The show's official Twitter feed recently announced that series creator Simon Davis Barry would be doing a Reddit Ama (Ask Me Anything) in the near future -- "as a thank you" to the fans.

A follower asked if this "thank you" was meant as a goodbye to the series. The response was "Hell no! ;)".

The much-deserved success of Being Human and Lost Girl have amplified the supernatural factor on the Syfy network, which used to be the home for science fiction buffs. Lately, it has struggled to keep the core audience interested in Alphas and Eureka but consider Continuum, Syfy’s mea culpa.

Continuum is a science fiction series about a revolution, spearheaded by a group of rebels calling themselves Liber8, charged for terrorism in Vancouver in the year 2077, but escape their sentence by time traveling to 2012 where they can rewrite history and right the wrongs of the future. Showcase has announced that the second season of its internationally popular sci-fi series Continuum will premiere on Sunday April 21. Fans can watch an announcement about the second season by star Rachel Nichols on showcase.ca.

Continuum stars Nichols as Kiera Cameron, a cop from the future who inadvertently gets sent back in time in pursuit of a group of convicted terrorists. The group, called Liber8, escapes its future fate with the aid of a time travel device. In present day Vancouver Kiera joins forces with detective Carlos Fonnegra (Victor Webster; Castle) to track down the terrorists before they change the course of history. In the process she is helped by teen tech genius Alec Sadler (Erik Knudsen; Scream 4), who comes to realize that his future self has an instrumental role in the time travel incident that will bring the terrorists and Kiera back through time.

The big news that every site reported in a slightly different way is that Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome will be a digital series and a TV film, but not a TV show, at least not one produced by Syfy/Universal Cable Prods. You have probably read the Deadline article by now.

With the possibility that Universal may still shop B&C around, it doesn't sound like they have any immediate plans to make more of it beyond the existing pilot/web series/Mow.

No word yet on a release date, but Battlestar Wiki reports that we'll be seeing Blood & Chrome as a web series first and then as a TV movie.

You might be familiar with Alan Ritchson from his many years modeling underwear for the likes of Abercrombie & Fitch and N2N, or for his superhero gig as Smallville's Aquaman, or for his recent memorable guest turn as a passionate gay love interest for 90210's Teddy.

But for the past three years Ritchson has been honing his comedic chops playing quarterback Thad Castle on the Spike series Blue Mountain State. If you've been following the show you've certainly noticed just how funny the man is. There's clearly a lot more to Ritchson than ripped abs, a megawatt smile and an amazing ass, and we wanted to know more about him.

AfterElton met up with Ritchson last week at the legendary West Hollywood watering hole, The Abbey, to talk about everything from his workout regime, that 90210 make out session with Trevor Donovan, Blue Mountain State...
