The romantic comedy One Guy, Too Many Dates has officially announced its stellar cast as production continues in Los Angeles, CA. Written and directed by award-winning filmmaker Yissendy Trinidad (Babylon), the film brings a fresh and hilarious take on modern dating, led by rising star Jenny Tran (Interior Chinatown) in the lead role.

Joining Tran in supporting roles are Yissendy Trinidad (Babylon), Robert Palmer Watkins (General Hospital), Moriah Brown (The Six Triple Eight), Johnny Rey Diaz (Primo), and Julissa Calderon (Gentefied).

Versatile actor and director Yissendy Trinidad, best known for her work in Damien Chazelle’s Babylon, has started filming the anticipated on new romantic comedy, One Guy, Too Many Dates? The film follows Emily, a tech-savvy engineer, creates an app for women to share dating tips. When she learns her users are all pursuing the same charming guy, she must navigate chaos and competition while finding her own path to love.

The film boasts a star-studded cast, including Jenny Tran (Interior Chinatown), Robert Palmer Watkins (General Hospital), Johnny Rey Diaz (Primo), Moriah Brown (The Six Triple Eight), and Orel de la Mota (The Baxters).

Accomplished screenwriter, actress, and mother, Gloria Laino is a true Renaissance woman. Born in the beach town of Guanica, Puerto Rico and raised in New York City, Laino spent her early adult years in Jordan before moving to Miami to pursue her career in acting. Having appeared in numerous roles on Spanish and American television, as well as theater and film, Laino is most well known for her role on the acclaimed series “Weeds” and as “The Mexican” on the award winning drama, “American Horror Story: Asylum”. She can most recently be seen in Roman Coppola’s new film, A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III.
