Born in Toronto, Ontario, bred in Nashville, Tennessee, Anna began her acting career at age 5, starring in her first stage production by 7. Her TV and film career began shortly after in the re-enactment series It's A Miracle (1998) and her first film "School Colors" (2000). She earned a BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Evansville while continuing to star in short films and regional summer stock theatre. After attending The New Harmony Project in Evansville, Indiana, she moved to Los Angeles, appearing in several award-winning films [A Trip to the Ocean(2012)] and theatre with such companies as Circle X Theatre Co, Write Act Rep, and Sacred Fools Theatre Co., for which she won the LA Weekly 2014 Best Female Comedy Performance Award for her portrayal of the beloved Charles Schultz character Lucy Van Pelt in the world premiere of "Absolutely Filthy", which went on to win both the Hollywood and NYC Fringe Festivals. Having always maintained her dual citizenship, Anna relocated to Toronto in 2013 and began working on shows like "Ransom" (2015), "Workin Moms" (2017), and "Mrs America" (2021). Anna now splits her time between Canada and the US, pulling inspiration from the many places she calls home.
