Reena Dutt was born in Jersey City, raised in Charlotte, NC and Chandler, AZ. Her father was an engineer and her mother an artist. She
trained in the Meisner Technique at the Wiliam Esper Studio in New York City with Terry Knickerbocker. She has had the honor of working with Albert Brooks, Henry Winkler, and Kelsey Grammer, to name a few.
Dutt, founder of Painted Tree Productions, and co-founder of Off-Chance Productions, is an independent producer and an alum of the San Francisco Film Society/Kenneth Rainin Producing Fellowship, Trans Atlantic Partners, and Film Independent's Project Involve. Her producing credits include the feature AS GOOD AS YOU (Releasing June 2017), line producing the feature CHEE AND T which made it's premiere at the 2016 LAFF (Executive Produced by Visual Communications), and JUNE, ADRIFT, a Crafty Shodmanship production which can be seen on multiple online platforms. She has produced a wide array of short films including; THE FIRST SESSION (AmPav's Emerging Filmmaker showcase @Cannes Film Festival), EL DOCTOR (Acquired by Latino/PBS, Executive Produced by Sport of Nature Pictures), TOUCH (NBCUniversal Shorts Finalist), UNFINISHED (BET Network), ...OR DIE, and SHAMELESS. She has also produced the two successful web series SQUAD 85 available on Justin Lin's network YOMYOMF.com and co-produced the 2nd season of KISS HER I'M FAMOUS on TelloFilms.com.
