Brother of
Terry Nichols, who was convicted and sentenced to life in prison for his part in the bombing of the Murrah federal building in Oklahoma City, OK, on April 19, 1995, in which 168 people were killed. James was arrested and held for more than a month on suspicion of aiding Terry and his accomplice,
Timothy McVeigh, in planning and implementing the bombing, but was eventually released for lack of evidence. McVeigh was found guilty, sentenced to death and executed on June 11, 2001.
