Andrea Sevilla is a trilingual actress fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
Since 2019, BGB Studio, in North Hollywood, Ca, has become her artistic home & rigorous training space on line & in person with teachers such as Steve Braun, Felipe Figueroa, Chris Chalk, and Ashley Rideaux. Previously, she studied with Steve Eastin at Charles Conrad Studio, Kimberly Jentzen at Living Art Institute, Lee Strasberg Institute and CD Mark Teschner.
Andrea is a passionate dancer always improving technique with tap teachers: Susie Ewing, Robbi Walberg, & Lindsey Lorenz. Her Flamenco Teachers are Yolanda Arroyo and Gabriela Garza.
Theatrically, and most recently, Andrea has performed opposite Sofia Vergara in the Netflix limited series "Griselda" directed by Narcos Mexico's Andrés Baiz,; next to Mariska Hargitay on NBC "Law & Order/SVU", Season #24: in the Web Series, "Gringo Latino", and in the Netflix Feature Film "Swing State" opposite Sean Astin, Elaine Hendrix & Taryn Manning. Andrea also performed next to Paul Giammatti in Universal Studios Feature Film "Big Fat Liar", Doris Roberts and Mare Winningham in CBS "Touched by an Angel", Lisa Vidal and Blair Underwood in ABC "High Incident", and Milo Ventimiglia in Crackle's "Chosen", to name a few.
Andrea Sevilla is represented by ATB's talent agent Roxanne Clark, Shushu Entertainment's manager Anthony Leones, and Nava Artists commercial agent, Kristin Nava.
In 1992, Andrea Sevilla moved to Los Angeles as soon as she was offered representation (on camera & VO) by Pat Dawson & Myra Berger at commercial agency Abrams, Ruballof & Lawrence, one of the three most important talent agencies of that time. Since then, Andrea has played pretend in more than 80 ad campaigns. She has been directed by Errol Morris, John Adams, Rodrigo Garcia, & David Dryer to name a few. In early 2000's, when ARL closed its doors, she found support by AAA, headed then by Mark Measures & William Morris Endeavor's VO agent Eric Seastrand.
In the early 80s in Mexico, and as a teen, Andrea Sevilla started her on-camera career. She began as an MTV Host type when she competed and won the position to lead "TV-Rock" every Sunday morning on XHAW-TV-12, one of the pioneer shows that introduced the first music videos. Thanks to her popularity, she was given the opportunity to perform in dinner and musical theatre simultaneously. Her voice became so popular, she was embraced by the radio world. She lent her voice to different ad campaigns on radio stations such as FM-Globo, Sonido 90, Kono, Stereo 7.
In the late 80s, Andrea gained fame and recognition by winning a grueling National Competition and became "XE-TU" TV host on Televisa/2, a well-known musical and game show designed for teens. Andrea took advantage of her stay in Mexico City and improved her acting and dance skills at Carmen Montejo's school and at Centro de Capacitación Televisa.
Andrea decided then to move North and took a job as TV Host for Univision KINT in El Paso, TX. Also, and at KBNA radio, part of the Tischner Group, she was given the opportunity to be comedic as a a morning DJ next to late Jose Luis Garcia, one of the most beloved Radio DJs of the area.
In 1990, Andrea Sevilla moved to the Bay Area and took a new challenge in her career. Andrea was offered a job as news anchor for Univision, Channel 14 in San Francisco. After two intense years, she finally built enough courage to fly to Southern California and fulfill her first dream: act in Hollywood.
