Ny'el Simmons is a classically trained actor and a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, recognized for his versatility in both independent shorts and major feature films.
Ny'el's feature film debut came in the 2021 crime thriller "The Gateway," directed by Michele Civetta. In this film, he delivered a compelling performance alongside SAG Award winner Shea Whigham, Olivia Munn, Keith David, and Frank Grillo.
His training under Sharon Foote at the prestigious Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, GA, has equipped Ny'el with a solid foundation in various acting methodologies, including Meisner and Uta Hagen, allowing him to continuously hone his craft.
Recently, Ny'el appeared with John Boyega and Jamie Foxx in the film "They Cloned Tyrone." He also starred in "The Last Runner Standing," which earned the "Keep on Trucking" award at the 48 Hour Film Project.
Expanding his creative repertoire, Ny'el has ventured into stand-up comedy, performing at numerous open mic events around Atlanta. As a hip-hop artist, he is working on an EP in his home audio studio and is also training to become a voice actor. Additionally, Ny'el has embraced prop making to enhance the authenticity of his cosplay projects.
