Jason has over 20 years of comedy experience. He has appeared in over forty films and television shows and over two hundred commercials.
When he's not acting J.B. writes. In 2010 Jason wrote and directed The Staff Room - an award winning web series on YouTube. His first full-length play, "The Dissemblers" was produced by Touchstone Theatre. He was the script consultant on the HGTV series "She's Crafty". His first foray into commercial writing resulted in a TV and Radio campaign for the B.C. Epilepsy Society. He also directed the radio component. J.B. was the creator and host of CBC Radio's short lived "The Strip Mall" an alternative lecture series.
For five years he co-hosted (with David Milchard) a popular variety show in Vancouver called "It's Good to Know People" which went on to have deals with Paperny Films and Brightlight Pictures.
2015 sees Jason working internationally with recent trips to the UK and Eastern Europe for more commercial work. Two of his feature-length comedy scripts have been optioned by TitleCard Pictures and Glamazon Pictures. He lives in Toronto with his wife and two tiny children.
