The Twilight Zone is one of the most brilliant and trippy series ever made. Created by Rod Serling, the CBS series is a virtual and psychologically thrilling trip into the unknown. The Twilight Zone premiered over six decades ago, and it still holds up very well as far as the stories and the visual experience go. Maybe that’s why the Jordan Peele reboot failed: it couldn’t capture the same magic as the Serling series did. So, if you loved the trippy stories, inventive settings, and compelling characters in The Twilight Zone, here are some similar shows you should check out next.

2008-2012 was a great yet frustrating era to be a fan of Marvel cartoons. That brief period of time saw the premiere of some of the very best television that's ever adapted Marvel Comics: "The Spectacular Spider-Man," "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes," and "Wolverine and the X-Men." I both blame and cherish these shows for making me a true Marvel Comics fan.
Yet, all these truly marvelous shows concluded prematurely for infuriating bureaucratic reasons. "Spectacular Spider-Man" ended when Sony ceded some Spider-Man television rights back to Marvel. Meanwhile, "Earth's Mightiest Heroes" was canned to make way for the far inferior (and Marvel Cinematic Universe-synergistic) "Avengers Assemble." Lastly, "Wolverine and the X-Men" never made it to season 2 because the show's financing fell apart.
Series writer-producer Joshua Fine confirmed as much in a 2011 interview. Even worse, season 2 was already in production; it had a season outline,...

The X-Menfranchise has always been deeply intertwined with Marvel Comics' greater cosmic lore, and nothing signified that more deeply than the marriage of Charles Xavier, the team's founder, and Lilandra, Empress of the Shi'ar Interstellar Empire – and now, Xavier just resurrected his alien wife from the dead, in a major turning point for the franchise.
X-Force #9 – written by Geoffrey Thorne, with art by Marcus To – features the return of Lilandra, a story beat that could potentially have a significant impact in both the short and long term. Most notably, upon her death, Lilandra was succeeded as the ruler of the Shi'ar by her daughter with Xavier, aptly named Xandra.
Though Xavier and Lilandra work together to help their daughter in the issue, the mother-daughter power dynamic could become complicated in the future – especially if different factions within the Shi'ar Empire back each of them as the rightful claimants to the throne.

Warning: Spoilers for X-Force #9!Charles Xavier may have just found his latest X-Men apostle despite his fall from grace. Over the past decade, the beloved Professor X has revealed increasingly villainous tendencies, pushing even the X-Men to turn their backs on him. His most loyal follower, Cyclops, now can't bear to look at him and refuses to offer any help to his former mentor in his time of need, making Xavier's newest pet project all the more noteworthy.
Luckily for Xavier, it seems he’s found a new zealot in one of the X-Men's most underrated members, Sage, as revealed in X-Force #9. This upcoming issue of X-Force will be available in stores and digital platforms starting March 19, 2025, with its preview showcasing cover art by Stephen Segovia and Rain Beredo below.

Marvel has just given a definitive answer to one of the X-Menfranchise's most intriguing debates about "Omega-level" mutants, who represent the upper echelon of raw mutant abilities – though as has now been established, how different characters learn to wield their powers can stil lmake the difference in an Omega-vs.-Omega throwdown.
X-Men #13 – written by Ryan Stegman, with art by Marte Gracia – contains a moment in which Charles Xavier explains that an Omega-level mutant's combat experience, and even more generally, their personality, stil has an impact on their effective use of their powers, even if there is no clear upper limit to those powers.
In other words, the greatest thing about mutants designated as Omega-level is their potential – both within the fictional world of the franchise, and as characters whom writers and artists can do unexpected and epic things with.

Marvel’s X-Menline recently announced a brand-new series for another fan-favorite character, finally giving Emma Frosther first solo series in over 20 years. Following in the footsteps of the recent Rogue: The Savage Land, the series won’t be set in the present day. Instead, Marvel Comics will revisit Emma’s story at another point in X-Men history, taking readers back to her roots in the villainous group, the Hellfire Club.
As announced by Marvel, writer Amy Chu and artist Andrea Di Vito are teaming up for the five-part limited series titled Emma Frost: The White Queen, set before she was the X-Men’s own diamond-skinned diva. David Nakayama’s cover art showcases the White Queen sitting on her throne while the 80s versions of Wolverine and Storm rush behind.

Outside of someone like the planet-eating giant Galactus or the terrifying mutant-hunting Sentinels in the "X-Men" stories, there really aren't many Marvel characters more physically intimidating than Juggernaut. Born Cain Markos, the Marvel Comics version of Juggernaut is Professor Charles Xavier's human step-brother and was given superhuman powers by a gem belonging to a god, enabling him to become a "human juggernaut." His domed helmet not only protects his noggin' a bit when he smashes through walls like a villainous Kool-Aid man, but it also guards him from psychic attacks, keeping his sibling safely out of his mind. Juggernaut is a force of nature and then some. In fact, in one comic, he almost trampled right over everyone's favorite boy wizard with a silly scar.
That's right — Juggernaut almost accidentally squashed Harry Potter like a bug.

Some see Marvel Comics' heyday as either the Silver Age of Comics or the 1980s, with the latter being an era where almost every major character and franchise had great ongoing titles. The 1990s were a much more infamous decade, both for Marvel and comic books as a whole. Grim and gritty were in, and this saw several characters in the Marvel Universe hit it bigger than others.
The 1990s catapulted several Marvel heroes and antiheroes into stardom, be they X-Ceptional mutants or symbiotic Lethal Protectors. This time period defined Marvel's X-Men in particular, and they had just the right amount of edge for the era. The same was true for various vigilantes and antiheroes, who shined brighter than ever in the Dark Ages of Comics.

Late last year, a rumor did the rounds that the highly-anticipated second season of X-Men '97 wouldn't premiere until 2026, and the lengthy wait has now been confirmed by Marvel's Brad Winderbaum.
"Season 2 of X-Men ‘97 is going to be in ‘26. We're working on it now," Winderbaum tells Collider. "It's exciting. That world of the ‘90s is just… Honestly, I can't believe they let me make it. I grew up at Marvel, as you know, clocked a lot of time here, and I feel like I used a lot of currency to revive this thing that I loved watching after school. So, the fact that we get to play in that universe with those actors is honestly why I went into this business in the first place."
When asked if we could expect more animated shows - and possibly a feature - to be announced soon, Winderbaum played it a little closer to the vest.

Lizzy Caplan has revealed new details about the abandoned Gambit film, which was originally set to star Channing Tatum. The project, announced in 2017, was intended as a standalone film focused on the X-Men character.
Caplan, who was in talks to co-star, shared that the film had advanced significantly before being scrapped. “We got down the road, we were gonna shoot it,” she said in an interview with Business Insider. “I think there was a start date. The film was planned with a different tone compared to most superhero projects. “They wanted to do, like, a ’30s kind of screwball romantic comedy set in that world, which would have been really fun,” Caplan said.

Was the romance between Magneto and Rogue your favorite part of "X-Men '97"? Then do I have the comic for you!
Now, in the ongoing "present" of Marvel Comics, Rogue is starring in Gail Simone and David Marquez's "Uncanny X-Men," which follows her and Gambit training a new generation X. New mini-series "Rogue: The Savage Land" throws Anna Marie back to 1991, before she even met Gambit, to when she and Magneto were lost in the titular dinosaur-filled jungle. Marvel has shared an exclusive preview of "Rogue: The Savage Land" issue #2 with /Film.
A few recent "X-Men" miniseries have been revisiting "gaps" from Chris Claremont's titanic 1975-1991 run on the book. Claremont himself returned for "Wolverine: Madripoor Knights" (drawn by Edgar Salazar) which went back to "Uncanny X-Men" #268 for another team-up between Logan, Captain America, and Black Widow. Welcome to the 38th installment of Page One Rewrite, where I examine genre screenplays that just couldn't make it. This week, it's 1982 and comic book superstar Chris Claremont has submitted his pitch for an X-Men movie. Can you just imagine...the X-Men in a movie?! And if you have any suggestions for the future, let me hear them. Just contact me on Twitter.
While the massive commercial success of Marvel's Uncanny X-Men title in the 1980s didn't guarantee a feature film adaptation, the mutants' growing popularity in "nerd circles" did pique Hollywood's interest. Or, at least, the interest of Toronto-based animation studio Nelvana. Looking to enter the realm of live-action, Nelvana inked a deal with Marvel to produce X-Men as, potentially, the studio's debut non-animated film. Orion Pictures, one of the larger independent studios of the era, signed on to distribute.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe's Kitty Pryde may have been found. A filming window for Marvel Studios' X-Men reboot has also been shared.
According to Jeff Sneider of The InSneider, Julia Butters is being eyed to play Kitty Pryde in Marvel Studios' X-Men reboot, which he reports will begin filming in 2026 for a 2027 release in theaters. Created by writer-artist John Byrne and writer Chris Claremont, Katherine Anne "Kitty" Pryde is a mutant superhero who first appeared in Marvel Comics' The Uncanny X-Men #129 in 1980. She possesses the ability to "phase" through objects, with her body being intangible while using this ability. This power also disrupts any electrical field she passes through, as well as lets her simulate levitation. Kitty Pryde previously appeared in 20th Century Fox's X-Men film series, portrayed by Elliot Page in X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) and X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014).

The closest we've come to a solid update on Marvel Studios' X-Men reboot is a report from the trades revealing The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes scribe Michael Lesslie is penning the screenplay.
Who knows how much has changed since then but, as far as we're aware, no director is attached and Lesslie may not even be the current writer on the project.
Despite that, the casting rumours continue coming in thick and fast. Yesterday, we shared a breakdown of the actors who are supposedly in the running for X-Men. And today, we have possible Mister Sinister casting!
According to insider @MyTimeToShineH, Marvel Studios is eyeing Dune, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and Skyfall star Javier Bardem to play the iconic X-Men villain in the MCU. You may recall that he was once said to be in line to play The Fantastic Four: First Steps' Galactus.

Warning! Spoilers for Rogue: The Savage Land #1
Rogue's Savage Land costume from her wildest X-Men era is undeniably iconic, but I've never been a fan, and Marvel's new justification for its existence still hasn't won me over. After decades, Rogue's days in the Savage Land are being explored in-depth, and with that story beat comes the return of her skimpiest outfit to date. I'm of the belief that this costume does more harm to Rogue than good, despite Marvel's attempts at explaining it.
In Rogue: The Savage Land #1 by Tim Seeley and Zulema Scotto Lavina, Rogue gets transported to the fittingly named Savage Land, where she must learn to fend for herself in the brutal wilderness without any assistance.
As she navigates the perilous Savage Land, she swaps her usual costume for one that reveals much more skin.

Warning! Spoilers ahead for Rogue: The Savage Land #1!The animated X-Men ‘97 series reintroduced fans to one of the most controversial romances in X-Men history, the brief love affair between Rogue and Magneto while stranded in the Savage Land. Now, Marvel is set to revisit Rogue’s time in the Savage Land but with a new spin on her journey and her polarizing romance with the Master of Magnetism.
Rogue: The Savage Land #1 – written by Tim Seeley, with art by Zulema Scotto Lavina – re-examines Rogue’s adventure in the Savage Land, bringing a fresh twist to the classic tale of Rogue surviving in the Savage Land without her powers. While only previously hinted at, X-Men ‘97 took Rogue and Magneto's tumultuous romance to a new level, sowing massive discourse between the fandom in the process.

Kitty Pryde has played many different roles among the X-Men; she's never even settled on a single code-name, going from Sprite to Ariel to Shadowcat to Red Queen. During the X-Men's time on the mutant island of Krakoa, she became a pirate captain, sailing the high seas to rescue mutant refugees for the Hellfire Trading Company.
Now in the new ongoing "Exceptional X-Men" by Dr. Eve Ewing and artist Carmen Carnero, Kitty is back in her (and Ewing's) hometown of Chicago. When the comic began, Kitty had decided to put world saving behind her and was working as a bartender. But she found young Mutants in need of guidance, and stepped up with her old enemy-turned-friend Emma Frost to teach them.

After a 50-year publication history, the iconic X-Men hero Wolverine is hitting a truly major milestone, with the upcoming Wolverine #8 marking the 400th issue of a Wolverine solo series at Marvel Comics. Wolverine is undeniably one of the most famous superheroes in the world - alongside other mainstream favorites like Spider-Man and Batman - making it no surprise that Logan holds the record for the most solo issues of any Marvel mutant.
The metal-clawed berserker is now on the 9th volume of his Wolverine solo series, with the very first Wolverine issue coming out in 1982, written by X-Men visionary Chris Claremont with art from the legendary Adam Kubert.
Wolverine #8 (Legacy #400), from series writer Saladin Ahmed and artist Martín Cóccolo, will be an oversized celebratory issue that will change Logan's lore forever, with Wolverine finally coming face-to-face with the mysterious Adamantine, and the issue will also feature a bonus story written...

As Kitty Pryde tries to run from her past mistakes made during the Fall of Krakoa, she finds herself retreading in her disgraced mentor, Professor X’s, footsteps.
In a preview of Exceptional X-Men #5 – written by Eve L. Ewing, with art by Carmen Carnero – after clashing with Iceman, Kitty Pryde accidentally reveals to her new students that she killed people during the fallout of Krakoa. Recreating the “Professor Xavier is a jerk!” pose, Thao Tran tells Kitty Pryde she wants nothing to do with her and quits the team, foreshadowing Thao taking Kitty Pryde’s place as the X-Men’s exceptionally passionate but brash young hero.

If any superhero has a reputation for being downright grim, it's Batman - but even he has a funny side. The Caped Crusader is one step away from being emo and one bad day away from being a villain. The Dark Knight truly lives up to his dark moniker by being absolutely brooding when the opportunity presents itself. However, to say that Batman is exclusively dark, brooding, and grim would be false.
Maybe there was a time when that perception about him was true, but since beginning his crimefighting career, he's gained friends within the Justice League and found a family in the Bat-Family. Batman doesn't need to be doom and gloom at every turn anymore. He may not look the part, but he is just as much of a bright, beacon of hope as Superman is. He's capable of being lighthearted, cracking a joke and a smile, and...

X-Men (2000) was somewhat criticized for casting the tall Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, but the movie almost made a far more divisive change to Marvel’s most famous mutant. Wolverine has always been a cornerstone of the X-Men franchise, and Fox’s X-Men timeline was no different. Debuting in The Incredible Hulk #180 in 1974, the character quickly became a fan favorite thanks to his gruff demeanor and compelling backstory. When Fox made X-Men (2000), they faced pressure to make some unfavorable changes to certain characters, and Wolverine became a focal point for such discussions.
When X-Men premiered in 2000, it redefined superhero cinema, laying the groundwork for the modern comic book movie era. Among the film's standout decisions was casting the relatively unknown Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Despite his 6'2" stature – nearly a foot taller than the character in the comics – Jackman embodied Logan so well that fans quickly forgave the physical disparity. However,...

This Wednesday, brace yourselves for jungle action, untamed romance, and more in the pages of Marvel Comics' Rogue: The Savage Land #1.
The series, first announced last September, will be written by Tim Seeley (Venom War: Wolverine) and illustrated by new artist sensation and Marvel Art Atelier winner Zulema Lavina in her Marvel Comics debut.
The five-issue limited series promises to take fans back to Chris Claremont and Jim Lee's legendary Uncanny X-Men #269 and #274-275 where Rogue embarked on a wild journey in the Savage Land, began her passionate relationship with Magneto, and sported her now iconic Savage Land look.
However, we're sure you'll recognise that costume from the 1990s pin-ups released by Marvel Comics, with Jim Lee responsible for creating this "Savage Land" look before he left to help found Image.

X-Men '97 reminded wider audiences what Nightcrawler is capable of, which makes it strange that Marvel Comics is seemingly trying to downplay the fan-favorite character's prowess in combat, despite decades of lore depicting him as a master swordsman. Though Kurt Wagner has a reputation as the X-franchise's resident man of faith, he has never shied away from a fight, either.
X-Men #9 – written by Jed MacKay, with art by Ryan Stegman – continues the "Raid on Graymalkin" crossover with Uncanny X-Men, including the finish to the battle between Nightcrawler and Psylocke, which began in Uncanny X-Men #7.
The outcome is quick and decisive, and doesn't account for Nightcrawler's noted battle-tested skill set, as Psylocke easily pins down Kurt. While Nightcrawler prioritizes non-lethally neutralizing his fellow mutant hero, Psylocke calls Kurt out for his pacifism, before taunting that he merely plays with his blades.

Ororo Monroe, aka Storm of the X-Men, has been a busy woman lately. Storm recently joined the Avengers, and her ongoing solo series "Storm" has already been plenty eventful with only three issues so far.
To recap: Storm saved Tulsa from a nuclear meltdown, which was, in fact, a mutant child experiencing power onset. This inspired her to build the hovering "Storm Sanctuary" for mutants, but it also left her with radiation poisoning. After being sent to Brother Voodoo for some magical treatment, her life is saved, but she can't use her mutant powers for one week. So in "Storm" #3, Ororo visited Rogue's Uncanny X-Men in Louisiana and hooked up with Wolverine. At the issue's end, she was summoned by Doctor Doom who, since the 2024 crossover "Blood Hunt," is the Earth's new Sorcerer Supreme.

Hollywood has long been fascinated with the concept of time travel. Whether it is killer cyborgs from the future or extra-terrestrials capable of simultaneously communicating with the past and future, we've had no shortage of captivating time-travel films. Often, these movies eschew logic for thrills, hoping viewers are more enamored with the spectacle to worry about plot contrivances. Then again, sometimes writers and directors make too much sense and threaten to put viewers into a coma with their scientific reasoning. Either way, most time-travel adventures produced in Tinseltown tend to leave some sort of mark on audiences, for better or worse.

Legendary X-Men writer Chris Claremont once revealed that Gambit is the "brother" of team leader Cyclops – as a result of some genetic trickery by the malevolent Mr. Sinister – and though the story is now considered non-canon, it offers a fascinating glimpse into a potential alternate path that X-lore could have taken in the 1990s.
X-Men: The End – written by Chris Claremont, with art by Sean Chen – revealed that Gambit was created in a laboratory by Sinister, a product of the villain's own DNA mixed with that of Scott Summers, the original X-Men member.
Though The End was always considered an out-of-continuity story, even at the time of its 2004 release, what makes it fascinating is that it contains hints of threads that Claremont left dangling when he abruptly left Marvel over a decade earlier in 1992.

Adamantium is the nearly unbreakable metal grafted onto Wolverine’s skeleton. It’s what makes him practically invincible, and is why his claws are so deadly. Wolverine can cut through an army of armored soldiers like they’re made of wet tissue paper, all while their attacks basically bounce right off of him. Sure, his healing factor and heightened senses help him in battle scenarios as well, but it’s the adamantium that makes Wolverine the perfect living weapon that he is.
Given how integral adamantium has become to Wolverine’s personal story and power set, one would assume that it's something that’s unique to him alone. However, that’s decidedly not the case. Not only have other heroes weaponized adamantium in the past, but villains have as well. More specifically, villains who would like nothing more than to see Wolverine dead. These villains pose a significant threat to...

Watchmen remains one of DC Comics’s most iconic intellectual properties. It’s seen its share of television and film adaptations, sometimes to polarizing degrees. DC even brought the series to retcon its superhero universe with the crossover event, Doomsday Clock.
Needless to say, Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’s participation in the superhero medium has been widely profitable. I still remember the hype fans had before going into Zack Snyder’s 2008 film adaptation. There’s a lot of love for this story of a broken-up team in a volatile world.
It’s since been classified as an outstanding work in comic book history, so much so that it’s been lauded by literary crowds. Many often consider it the moment “when comic books grew up.” While Chris Claremont told mature stories with the X-Men in the early 1980s and other comics would periodically touch on serious subjects, Watchmen was a turning point.

One of the most fascinating villain-to-hero turns in Marvel history is that of X-Men leader, Rogue. There's a long list of villains turned hero in Marvel history, but it's often forgotten that Rogue emerged in X-Men lore originally as the team's opposition. If anything, that's a good indicator of just how successful Rogue's time as an X-Man has been for the majority of fans to forget her baddie past.
In the time since her villainous debut, Rogue has broken out as one of Marvel's most important superheroes. She's become just as visually iconic as Spider-Man and as powerful as Marvel's finest. She stands tall with Avengers and all-powerful beings without looking out of place and the feats she achieved deserve to be heralded for the masses to celebrate. To properly celebrate one of the most beloved X-Men members, it's best to reflect on the biggest moments of her tenure in the comics.

It's undeniable: Marvel’s X-Men love the holidays. When their lives are spent protecting mutantkind from unimaginable dangers, these heroes rarely have time to themselves. Fortunately, even evil sometimes takes a break for the festive season. The X-Men really came to embrace the holidays during the Chris Claremont era.
Claremont clearly loves Christmas and always made space for the X-Men’s Jewish heroes to celebrate Hanukkah alongside their teammates. From deeply devout characters like Nightcrawler and Kate Pryde to others who simply enjoy the merriment of the season, the winter holidays are a time when the X-Men get to relax and spend time together as a family. Of course, with Cyclops and Rogue’s current rivalry, the X-Men may not get a chance to celebrate this year, but luckily, readers get to catch up with holiday stories from the X-Family’s past.

2024 saw DC Comics yet again trot out "Watchmen," this time as a two-part animated film. First debuting in 1986, "Watchmen" is the beloved superhero murder mystery comic created by writer Alan Moore (who infamously has no interest in any "Watchmen" adaptations) and artist Dave Gibbons. It's also the one superhero comic that it's broadly acceptable for literary critics to enjoy -- so much so it spawned a new term for the comic medium: "graphic novel."
The term goes back a bit further, such as the Marvel Graphic Novel line (begun in 1982). These longer (and more expensive) than usual comic issues told a standalone story. They also tended to be darker than contemporary Marvel comics. Take the "X2" inspiration "X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills" (by Chris Claremont and Brent Anderson) where the X-Men battled a televangelist and religious bigotry, and "The Death of Captain Marvel" (by Jim Starlin), where the cosmic hero succumbed to cancer.

No Marvel character, hero or villain, is as much of a diva as Doctor Doom. A diva can be best described as a self-important, often vain human being who is not only absorbed in themselves, but can be self-absorbed in the most theatrical of fashions. Anyone remotely familiar with Doctor Doom's stories will agree that "diva" describes Doom to a tee.
Dr. Victor Von Doom notoriously has a flair for the dramatic. He takes slights personally, and any small inconvenience to him feels like an attack on his well-being. Since debuting in 1962 in a Fantastic Four story by the legendary Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Doctor Doom's entire comic book history has featured countless examples of him being the biggest diva known to grace a panel. Such examples illustrate exactly why he is a supervillain, but also what makes him one of Marvel's most entertaining - and unintentionally hilarious - characters.

Wolverine has become the poster child of the X-Men, but his journey began in a different way entirely. While Hugh Jackman brought him to the forefront, Wolverine wasn’t always meant to be an X-Man.

That’s right! In fact, he was originally created to take on one of Marvel’s biggest icons, the Hulk! Fans have already gotten a bit of a taste of how that fight could turn out on the big screen, but this rivalry has been unfolding in comics for years. Simply put, these two were born to fight, and it’s one that fans can’t get enough of.
This Is Why Wolverine Was Created!
What Jack Kirby and Stan Lee started with the X-Men, Len Wein, Chris Claremont, Roy Thomas, and John Romita Sr. only made it better. And the best part came with Wolverine,...

Doctor Doom's time as the Sorcerer Supreme is already earning him some major disrespect. During the Blood Hunt event, Doom outplayed Doctor Strange, forcing him to hand over the title and powers of the Sorcerer Supreme. Now, Marvel is heading for a new One World Under Doom series, which will see Doctor Doom take control of the Marvel Universe, conquering everyone from the Avengers to the X-Men.
The one person not intimidated by Doctor Doom's reign as Sorcerer Supreme is Storm, as she expresses in Storm #3. The goddess is summoned by the self-proclaimed God Emperor in hopes of a parley to discuss mutant matters. When relaying the information to her old friend Rogue, Storm assures the new X-Men leader that Doom is "harmless. Mostly." While it's a mild sentiment, it's hard to imagine two words that would anger Doctor Doom more.

Ultimate Universe: One Year In #1 – written by Deniz Camp, with art by Jonas Scharf – Ultimate Emmanuel Da Costa is introduced as a South American leader, and a member of both the Hellfire Club and the collective of world-dominating villains, the Maker’s Council. The X-Men franchise continues to inch closer to its own version of Marvel's legendary Civil War, as a new mutant registration legislation divides two current X-Men teams, led by Cyclops and Rogue, and threatens the safety the mutant community at large, while they struggle to reintegrate into human society following the destruction of their island sanctuary of Krakoa.
X-Factor #5 – written by Mark Russell, with art by Bob Quinn – marks a new chapter of mutantkind’s eternal struggle to find freedom. In response to a mutant-led terrorist group’s threats against America, the United States government has already enlisted the aid of X-Factor. However, the extremist group, called X-Term, is gaining traction among America’s mutant population.
As groups like the Mutant Underground gain greater traction, the government is pushing a new agenda that would divide mutantkind just as the Super-human Registration Act once divided Marvel’s mightiest heroes and villains.

Is Clark Kent also a part of Marvel?(Photo Credit – YouTube)
Did you know that Clark Kent did the impossible? He made his sneaky appearances in Marvel comics starting way back in 1976. He’s the mild-mannered reporter, but this time, he’s working at a “great Metropolitan newspaper,” not The Daily Planet.
This fun Easter egg first appeared in X-Men #98, where not only did Kent show up, but Lois Lane and even Stan Lee made cameo appearances at a party. Talk about a crossover that wasn’t official! From then on, Clark Kent popped up a few more times, always hanging around during press conferences, TV shows, or at events where superheroes and mutants were making a scene. His most memorable moments? One time, he bumped into Thor at S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters and almost recognized him; another, he shared a dance with She-Hulk in Avengers #325. Oh,...

Warning! Spoilers ahead for X-Men #8!Marvel’s Cyclops just delivered a simple yet bone-chilling line that beautifully encompasses his purpose within the X-Men and his identity as a superhero. As one of the original members of Charles Xavier’s X-Men, Cyclops is known for his laser-focused, and at times, overly intense attitude, but the X-Men’s full-scale raid on Graymalkin prison solidifies how crucial to Cyclops is to his team of powerful mutants.
In X-Men #8 – written by Jed Mackay, with art by Ryan Stegman – Cyclops and his Alaska X-Men team launch a massive attack on Graymalkin prison in order to rescue their teammate Beast. In their raid, they release a hoard of demons and an explosive battleship. At the helm, Cyclops commands some of the most powerful X-Men including Juggernaut and the omega-level telepath, Kid Omega.
Magik is more than ready to murder their villains but Cyclops strikes down her request,...
